A solid "good". I'm feeling colder than I have in a long time-- didn't get as much sleep last night (stayed up reading a good book) or maybe it's a woosh? who knows.

I like the quote Slow! I did get hungry and had celery for exactly this situation.

I was going to exercise, but since I had to do some shoveling yesterday (unplanned) I think I'll give it a break today.

After 5 pm here and I'm feeling ok. Probably a 4 on a scale of 1-5. Only calories so far have been the half and half in my coffee this morning. Lots of water after that.

Keeping busy with projects again. That seems to keep my mind off food on DDs.

I have ended the day with 221 calories; 20 grams protein. Think I can call it a 5. Whew. Can't wait until tomorrow's UD!!

Today was my first day DD in two weeks. I was a little nervous and apprehensive about it. Turned out great. Fasted all day and had tuna for dinner so I'm finishing the day at 120 calories.

I had a MD, I guess. I'm ending at 900 calories, but feeling good about it. I think I'd rather allow for higher DDs on the weekend rather than not sticking to rotations at all, and lately I just need a break.

Sooooo happy for a DD today after 4 days away, 4 days of fun excess.
I'll do a high DD, all LC, and hope I don't die of sugar/fat/flour withdrawal.

Haha I feel the same way today! Except mine was a two day party.

I woke up hungry after two UD's. Sugar withdrawal big time

Kristen and Green: Isn't it great to be able to "look forward" to a DD?? I love this WOE!

I had a super terrific UD yesterday with everything I planned on and everything I wanted.

I didn't go wild, but still I was looking forward to my DD. When the scale did not bounce up this morning, I was looking forward to this DD even more! I got so motivated.

So, I will have to say I'm at a 5+ in the early after noon. Sipping on ice water and I'm going to either put some lemon in it soon or some ACV.

I'm thinking about how I can get in 30 grams of protein. Looks like whey protein powder and also HB egg whites are in my future, before the day ends.

5 today. I'm coming in around 450 calories and 55 grams of protein, perfectly satisfied, and had a very productive day. We went furniture shopping and found a good deal on an entire living room set (sectional, tables, lamps, rug, throw, and accessories). I am not a decorator, so we needed it all put together for us! Now we're home, and DH is booking our cruise for June. He is getting a decent deal and we're going to get a Jr. Suite. Not extravagant by any stretch of the imagination, but nicer than our last state room, which was okay. I'm feeling quite happy and content with my life right now. JUDDD calm, I'm sure, is a big part of that!

It's close to 9 pm and I have to say, today was an all day 5.

Glad it's over though because I'm looking forward to a fun UD!

I stuck with 195 calories and 30 grams of protein.

My DD yesterday was a breeze. I had trouble sleeping until I finished off my protein shake from earlier in the day. Stayed around 200 cals! 5!

There should be a How Is Your UD Morning Going thread. I love the way my body feels first thing on an UD, particularly after a tough dd. Relaxed, quiet, celebratory. I earned this sucker.

Cindy, so sorry. I have a stepmother and am so blessed to really get along with her.

I'm planning a down day like Monday, where I wait to eat until supper.

Got some "good stress" news today in the form of finding out my boss is asking me to bid on an open position he has coming up that would be a promotion for me. I really haven't had to interview for a job in 20 years. Got recruited and then moved up the progression. However, I've been topped out for over a decade and a half and also, I'd really like a change! So, I was excited and first thing I wanted to do was go eat something; still fighting that a bit.

I love this! It's exactly how I feel most UDs. I have always thought this "feeling" is one of the greatest things about this WOE!!!

I was thrilled to have lunch with my second mother Sunday, along with her daughter who is a life-long friend. The thought of her passing would be almost as difficult as losing my very own Mom, and both are in poor health. I can imagine how sad you must be. No words seem adequate. ehhhh 3. could be worse considering i ate 500 calories worth of cookies before 8am. TOM hit unexpectedly today (I'm on BCP...wth!?) trying to fast the rest of the day
