Ugh.

My husband and I live with MIL at the moment, and she ordered Pizza Hut. I just ate 1,500 cals, and today is supposed to be a DD.

My next DD can't be until Monday since I fast Wednesdays and Fridays for religious purposes.

Self control = non-existent

Getting started seems to be the hardest part! And really... who can resist pizza??!

Monday will be awesome

No guilt. Enjoy your weekend & head into the new week ready to roll!

Thanks

I'll probably hit my UD calories today (2000), but try to only do about 1,800 tomorrow. It'll make me feel better about screwing up.

Don't sweat it. You're adjusting to the idea of JUDDD right now, and in the early days, there's no way I could've resisted pizza right in front of my nose! Enjoy you UDs and start fresh on Monday.

I walked to the gym. Did 3.3 miles on the treadmill. Did arms and abs and walked home. It's half a mile in each direction. Then errands. I was going to do laundry, but it's 6:15pm and I don't think I want to start that now.

I had 20 calories worth of coffee w/ creamer at 9:30am. I may make some decaf now... hum....

Bedtime snack isn't till about 10:45pm on DD Saturday.

5 so far.

I am having a fine 600 calorie DD. But it feels unnatural to have cookies, ice cream and real milk chocolate in the house all day and not touched them.

It is tempting to do LC again, but I just can't seem to wing it with my family and our current food budget. The things that I like to eat they all will eat too (like bacon) but they don't eat just two slices. By the time I get to it they have eaten it all! Then the things that are more economical they will not eat, so many bulk items I buy end up going to waste.

I probably could make it work if I ate very simple and had only a few choices... but, on the other hand, I would probably get bored and fall off the wagon.

I like not having to cut anything out of my diet... even if it is only every other day.

My bf doesn't do LC, and in fact still doesn't seem to understand that I do lol. I fix him the same things that I eat for dinner (1 meat and a veg), and he seems fine with it. He will have cereal later or a sweet snack. I don't think I spend any more by eating LC, and probably less because I'm not buying sweets or breads for myself.

Had a good DD. Didn't start that way, I don't think there's ever been a Saturday that I didn't eat anything and everything... so that was hard to wrap my mind around & get my cravings under control. But once I did, it was smooth sailing!

Big chicken salad for lunch & a diet Pepsi to pull me through today (435cal)!!

I am so sorry you are feeling like this. Is there a reason not to have your morning coffee? If it causes angst I'd find a way to include at least a small cup.
I just feel for you. And I want you to know that I care.
I totally understand what you mean when you say "Everything seems to be falling away from me". That is a very good description. I usually say "The center will not hold" from a book I read years ago. That feeling leaves you stranded and alone and unable to even ask for help.

Nope. Many of us LIVE on coffee on DDs. I like mine black, so it's a non-issue for me, but for those who love lots of cream, the calories can add up. That's the only issue I think.

No reason to skip it as long as you count any calories that come from creamer/ half and half, etc...

I'm just in a whiny, wanna-be-munchin mood today. I did two classes in the gym and I think that's making me want to eat. That and TOM is due to rear its ugly head any day now

I also have leftovers in the fridge from yesterday. I think I've learned a valuable JUDDD lesson.... NO LEFTOVERS WHEN YOU GO OUT TO EAT!

Thanks for the coffee answers. I have always had mine straight...no additives and I drink 1/2 caf since starting LC so many years ago.
Today was excellent for me.
I took a can of Progresso Lite SW veggies soup (whole can 120 cals) and combined it with a whole can of French cut green Beans (70 cals.) and split it into 3 servings. I am full and satisfied and so excited.
I think I want a drink when I want to eat so I am making sure to have something to eat vs. trying to just drink bouillon or coffee. It really helped.
I have one serving of soup left and it's not that long till bedtime.
Feeling very optimistic.

Thanks Patkid... I ended up having a almond milk latte and I was much better. The almond milk has a bit of a odd after taste so I don't enjoy it as much as my UD latte, but it was better than nothing.

I have been a horrible slacker. Tomorrow I really got to have a good dd. We leave on a 10 night cruise in a week. Ugh. I don't see how I can keep dds on the cruise. I want to get my weight down a few pounds before we leave. I have been jumping up and down a lot with my weight. I will be walking a lot and hitting the gym too.

Yesterday's DD was easy, breezy. I'd give it a 5. It was another one of those, "Oh, today's supposed to be an UD, but I'm not really hungry, so I'll make it a DD," days. Those are the best. Unfortunately, the scale did not reward me greatly this morning.

Yet another rainy, windy DD with flood alert warnings. I'd like to spend a DD on a warm island somewhere with plenty of sunshine

Could be worse but I'm emotionally pining for a hearty stew - it's not hunger, it's the comfort factor but hey, ho. The rains and storms aren't letting up any time soon so it's just got to be borne

I'll be missing for a week coming up soon, and this is exactly where I'm going to be.

I confess I was going to go back to just eating LC after talking about all this with DH over the weekend. But, when I got on the scale today to begin tracking daily again, it was and really hoping it's water weight. So, today's DD is going good; I give it a 4.5 so far. My DH will no doubt roll his eyes at me when I tell him it's a DD. Lovingly, of course, because that's just the type of man I have.

Good luck with telling DH... i always struggle with sharing my WOE woes with my BF, even though he is always loving and supportive...All he knows as of now, my new way eating is that I'm "trying to be less restrictive" and I'm IF'ing a few days a week.

I'd give the day a 4 so far. Was going really well until I took a short nap with my toddler, I woke up with an intense craving for sugar. My bloodsugar must've dropped. I didn't cave, but now I'm just in a funk about it.

LC/HF meal to help control hunger/craving: 5oz chix with 1/4c shred cheese & 2tbs sour cream over lettuce. And a green bell pepper to munch.

Oh no, it won't be a problem. He'll be more amused that I've managed to change my mind in just a few hours ... again. He's seen me try everything with such little luck, and is beyond supportive no matter what I choose to do.
