Bleh sort of day. Crawling off to my bed. Eaten a little more than I usually do in an attempt to control the nausea - not wholly successful but could have been worse.

DDs are usually OK. Things will improve.

Nilla: Glad you are at a 5. I'm still gonna say 4+ so far for me. Getting some grumblings and I'm on my way to either a hard boiled egg white or a cup of FF hot chocolate with EVCO. Or maybe lemon water. Don't know yet.

Just trying to hang around here reading and gabbing to see if I can bump it up to a 5.

Adi: Glad you are doing better and that you didn't have to fight off a full blown migraine. Don't get too close to the DH!

SlowSure: So sorry about the nausea. I hate it when that happens. Hope you feel better soon.

Colleen: I'm cold too! Brrrrrrr..... Ice blocks for feet.

It's 8:30 and I'm waiting for a phone call. Otherwise I might try going to bed though I'm not sleepy.

I'm at 234 calories for the day and that was all liquid. I had a sugar-free mocha cappuccino with one teaspoon of coconut oil at about 5 p.m. It tided me over and warmed me up a bit.

However at about 7 pm I was all shaky and light headed. Not sure what's up with that.

Now I'm sitting by the fire and drinking water and I feel ok but definitely not tired. Hope I don't have trouble sleeping tonight.

Since I don't eat on DDs, I think I have been eating a little more than I should on UDs to make sure there is enough "carry over" for the fast day. Yesterday, I tried not to do that and ate reasonable quantities. I expected to be extra hungry today and, in actuality, it's been the complete opposite. I haven't been hungry at all.

Pretty weird.

Hey ho, and it's off to the DD part of the DODO.

A quick inventory of my limbs revealed a fair amount of bruising and swelling (probably recent kayak sessions and the gym last night) so I wasn't too surprised to see an uptick in scale weight today. It will pass.

So, 3 physically going in, but everything else is probably a 4. We'll see what the day brings.

I'm done. I'm at 3:15 calories. Went to a birthday dinner for my grand daughter. I looked on line for the restaurant menus because they have what they call an "enlightened" menu. Stuff under 500. I chose a 430 calorie mahi-mahi and ate half for 214 than had a 4 ounce glass of white wine for 100.

worked out today and I'm very sore in the legs. The leg press is killing me I think. It's 7:15 p.m. I'm throwing my gym clothes in the washing machine and going to get in bed and watch TV.

Wound up on target with my calories, so I'm very happy about that. Spent the afternoon wanting to eat though, so I had to just push through it. I'm really glad tomorrow's an UD.

Ugh I confess I had a cupcake yesterday. It was red velvet and delish. The good thing is after that cupcake at 11 AM I was able to finish off the day with a pear. So right about now I'm hungry.

Oh, thank you, that's so thoughtful. I am getting better - this ear infection can't clear up too soon for me tho'.

Friday DDs tend to be OK because as soon as I get home I start baking for the neighbours etc. I'm too busy to eat and I'm saturated with the smells to the point where I don't want any of the baked items (typically).

I havent posted in a while but im still here. We have been so busy at work. Travel season has begun!! By the tim ei get home i just dont feel like getting on the computer or i just read and thats it.

Today is already being a tough DD. Flo is here, myabe that is why but i am struggling!!
i have had coffee with almond milk and 1T cocoa. I'm trying hard not to eat but i dont know if i can take it or not.

I'm also not losing any weight so im just frustrated all around. Everythign is caving in on me and i feel pretty hopeless. I just feel like giving up and eating waht i want. It doesnt matter it seems. I'm going ot gain weight whether i eat or dont eat, eat carbs or dont eat carbs.

I just really feel totally hopeless. I dont know what is wrong with me. I cant bring myself to buy bigger clothes again. I just cant. But im going to be going nekked or wearing dresses every day if i dont. Something has to give. I dont understand!!

Shelly I feel your pain, hun. If you've read through the board at all, you probably know that. I'm trying LC now, but no real break throughs so far. I am still hopeful at this point, and I FEEL better, so that's a plus. Losing weight is so difficult, and it takes constant maintenance for some of us, but it's worth it. We can do this, you and I, because we have all this lovely support from our JB's. Take heart and expect good things to come.

My DD is going well. I give it a 5+ and I owe it to BPC, I believe. I had 1/4 T of unsalted butter, HWC and Splenda in my coffee cup this morning, and absolutely no hunger yet at noon. That hasn't happened recently, so I just have to call it like I see it! And Yay!

Hang in there, Budd. Stress can really do a number on anyone. Get over TOM before you make any big and harsh decisions. Sometimes you just have to listen to your body. Are you getting enough sleep? You might be over-producing the hormone grehlin and some extra sleep could really help with that.

Believe me, we have all been where you are in one way or another. I've talked about my horrible 2013 year enough but I so know what you mean about not wanting to buy bigger clothes.

I have to say 3+ for right now. Plain old coffee didn't kill my appetite yet this morning. I'm feeling a bit lethargic and would love to go out looking for a chocolate covered donut or something.

Not sure what is causing the carb cravings this morning, but I'm going to tough it out and at some point eat a hard boiled egg or have some BPF.

I am so very frustrated and some days are better than others. Today is being really really tough.
Yam i feel ya wanting to go have that donut!!
It is noon and all i keep thinking is just make it another hour, then another hour and so on so on.
I have drank half of my protein shake and i am still so hungry!!
I have another half a protein shake, a boiled cold potato and some sauerkraut to get me through today. I also sf jello and rice cakes i keep here at work just in case.
Today is going to be so trying!!!

Shelly, pay me no heed if you don't like this advice, but it seems like some protein and/or fat would be more helpful for you today instead of the carby foods. If I eat potatoes, I feel ravishing hunger, and ditto for the shakes and rice cakes. Why not try some chicken? If you have a McD's close by, the grilled bacon ranch chicken salad is 230 calories without dressing and it's filling and delicious! You can add lite ranch or whatever other dressing you prefer for not many more cals.
