I think I'd call today a 5. Hardly any hunger at all, and was happy on 200 calories. Stomach's growling just a bit at the moment, but I'll be asleep soon and it won't matter.

Snuffly today which is not surprising given the ear infection. I'm just hoping that my ear drum doesn't perforate as that will add complexity to my water-based activities.

DD is OK so far, so a solid 4 on all fronts for now. I don't have strong impulses towards anything to feed my snuffliness but I would probably be more interested in chicken soup and its ilk if I could actually smell/taste.

I was worried about how yesterday would turn out. I came in about 400 calories under my UD calories for the first time, but the day went great. I only ate lunch and I had to leave early from work so I was busy with family for the rest of the afternoon. I ended up with 220 calories for the day.

If so, then you should. You can always get back into JUDDD when you can later.

However, if bailing is going to end up adding to the stress later, then you might consider holding out a little longer.

You gotta do what is best for you. Hang in there.

I really thought about all that stuff, seriously. I went through this last year with Aleeya.

What I *can* say is that prolonged off-plan eating does not help anything for me. I know I won't do that again. #wastedyear2013

But for 4-5 days, it something has to give, it's dd's.

I'll be back with you soon, I'm sure of it.

Good, but off kilter after sugar last night. (We live trapped a squirrel that was running around under our roof and keeping us awake. But when we caught him - I say we but it was my lovely man - we felt so sorry for the little bugger. We packed him some snacks and put a blanket over his little cage and spent twenty minutes deciding where to take him so that he wouldn't end up in the cold. My lovely man took him away and I made one of those evil, microwaveable cookies-in-a-mug. This morning I felt hungover. This afternoon I am hungry and irritable. Sugar lesson #3,749)
So. Skiing and then I'll find my gluc.

I like squirrels too, even though your grey has just about seen off all our reds. I'd have done the same.

I wasn't sure earlier but this has turned into a true 5 of a DD with all the energy that sometimes flows. Been busy, busy, busy.

Did have a couple of cookies but they haven't thrown me I expect to finish my day under 300 cals.

I'm hoping that sleeping in until 10:00 am will help make this DD an easy/er one. That's about 4 hours less to worry about than any normal day for me. Cool.

After family left after the holidays, I found myself sleeping more. It really felt good. But like you, I do like to get up and going earlier. Unless of course, its a DD.

Its 3 p.m. So far a 4. I won't give myself a 5 until I'm done for the day! I just had an oopsie with egg salad on it, 4 TBS. Club soda with a splash of DaVinci sf cherry flavoring. In awhile I'll finish my mocha for dessert.

I have some chicken bone broth on the stove. It smells really good. I am going to take a couple cups and make some kind of egg drop soup for later. I was just going to have plain broth, but the soup is sounding really good.

Great day! Worked all day and finally home to eat dinner. Another low calorie DD makes me a happy lady because the first two weeks after vacation/holiday binging was rough.

So far so good for me. I'd say a 5 at the moment but you never can predict what will happen. It's only 5:30 so I have a while to go yet. But I've kept busy.

After the workout I did laundry, put color on my hair, cleaned one bathroom and now I'm going to cook dinner for DH. Wish I could demand that he cook his own. lol. but he's so cute and good and he asked so nice for one of his favorite dishes. I just gotta do it.

Finished this day at a 1 I guess. Worst DD in my history of JUDDD. I was starving all day long and the gluc broth was awful. I remembered how much I hated that stuff after I tried to gag it down. Then had to eat something else to get over the nasty gluc. I am still starving by it is close enough to bedtime that I am drinking coffee to keep me full. Let tomorrow be a better day. Sad part is that I had a controlled UD yesterday for the first time in a LONG time.

So sorry, Adi. Some days are just like that. Maybe it means you are going to get a downward whoosh on the scale. Wouldn't that be great?

Hoping for a happy UD for you tomorrow.

I like glucomannan pudding but prefer to thicken broths with gelatine (despite gelatine's calories).

Well done on the controlled UD.

And for my good work I was rewarded with a pound gain after my awful DD. ONward for another controlled UD and I now have the visual aura that comes before a migraine so maybe that has something to do with my weight this morning.

So far today is a5.
Only liquids so far it is almost halftime for the broncos game.
Later I am having salad topped with some taco meat. Hopefully then done.
I have found that drinking half a bud select 55 beer is a great appetite suppressor. And only 27 calories. I think it is the carbonation. It fills me up.

Migraines messed up my water levels considerably. When it comes, I hope that it's as short as possible and that you can sleep it off within a reasonable time.

Silly situation developed.
Yesterday was to be a UD.
Saturday and Sundays are planned that way, anyway in my dreams
But yesterday without remembering turned into a natural dd only 700 calories, good for me.
So not wanting to mess up my schedule of u and d days. Today I m going to try for a better- lower dd..brother?? A natural dd-who knew?
I just can't mess up my Tuesday-Thursday schedule cas I need
Sat-Sun Upper days. I never had trouble with two UDs in a roll. But two dd ish days maybe a little trick. I'm still don't have an appetite, weird for me. My 700 cal yesterday may work for my goal of 500 today. But the kitchen activity hasn't started yet

Aw Adi and Slow, hang in there. Sorry you're not feeling the best, both of you.

Terri, a natural DD, did you say? Hmmmm......brain not comprehending. Just kidding. I've had one or two of those myself, usually around extremely stressful situations. Good luck doing 2 back to back DDs.

I think, so far, my DD is fine. Feeling good, no hunger. Just cold.

Just popping in real quick. I'll have to come back and read later.

My DD is going fine so far. I did not wake up hungry, which is always a plus after such a fun UD with yummy food of all kinds yesterday.

We are heading to the gym in a few minutes, so that will keep me busy and hopefully kill any appetite I might have.

I'll call it a 4+ so far.

Today is a better DD. I had to make a trip and pick up my buck that was leased. I had to stop several times going and coming home so maybe I will weigh less tomorrow due to water loss. And that was with one cup of coffee this morning and I thought I had waited long enough before I left not to have to make multiple stops. HaHa.
Had my broth for lunch. Stopped on the way home and bought some broth cubes as I like those better than the powdered kind.
Got home though and DH said he didn't feel good and was going to take a nap. Oh great. I have avoided sick people for a reason.
