DD is going ok. 4 for DD hunger, and a 2ish for rest of the day. I think I'm on a 6-week PMS trip.

Same here, TJ. This cup of coffee is bringing me up to 300. I haven't eaten hardly anything either. Only a salad, some celery and a strawberry.

Ended up being a decent DD. I was starving this morning, but after lunch the day started to get better. I'd give today a 4.

Tomorrow I'm going to a birthday lunch at Maggianos. I've already decided to ask for a to-go box and cut the meal in half. I love what JUDDD and all of you are teaching me.

Have a great night everyone!

Ended my DD at about 600 calories. It's not often I go that high but in the grand scheme of things NBD. It's just how it worked out today. I dealt with stress. I had dinner out with DH. I had healthy grilled veggies but it still added up to more than I wanted. I still should lose at that rate but ......

A 5 for me today. After all the good food while I was away I am enjoying that slightly hollow feeling. Have some butternut soup planned for this evening.

It's raining and a cold here in Los Angeles. I feel like snuggling up to heaps of hot coffee. Sent DH off to work with homemade veg soup (thank goodness for packaged coleslaw mix). Only 65 cals a cup and very filling.

It's been an up and down sort of DD. I'm so accustomed to having a MD or UD day off (weekend) that it somehow feels deprived to have one on a Public Holiday. So, a 5 for hunger but a 3 for the feeling of injustice and headache.

DH is being OK about it but today was the first time he had a bit of GI discomfort from the potato hack he is following until tomorrow (he started on Friday evening). Following Adi's example, he's moving to potato DDs. This is also helpful to me as it simplifies his evening meal at a time when I don't have enough calorie allowance for one on my DDs (my breakfasts are quite large because of the leptin reset programme).

I'm so pleased that you had a good time. Thinking of Turkey, I'm now pining for mint tea- but my mint isn't ready so I'll have to make do with some mint water and soda.

I always give my DH soup for lunch with few deviations from that. It's the only way that I can be reasonably confident that he'll eat and won't end up making some unwise choices. (Micro-manage? Really? Rod for my own back? ) However, for the next few weeks, he'll be having potato DDs which may be a slight respite for him.

A nice peaceful DD. Had my eggs for B and cold boiled potato for lunch. Have a dental appointment this afternoon and have to take medi beforehand since I have screws in my foot so I am hoping it doesn't make me sick at my stomach since it will be before I eat again. Been drinking a lot this morning. I was thirsty for some reason.

My plans have been seriously derailed this last couple of days, bless DH and DS2, so I could do with a good DD today!

I was really hungry this afternoon - unusual!

Held out till 2.30pm but it wasn't going to go away so I had a snack, which worked.

Unfortunately the smoked trout, that I should have had yesterday, needed eating. So it was a much higher dinner than I would have liked.

However, I should come in at a 35% DD so it could be worse.

Today's DD is a 5 so far! A bit hungry but its about 4PM here and all I've has so far is a bit of celery and some cherry tomatoes for 50 calories. We'll see about dinner after I get home and get a workout in. Spending a lot of time in the ladies room today so I hope that the weekend water weight is leaving!!

I've been experimenting with how I eat and what I eat on DDs. Today's DD has been spectacular. I've been eating little bits through the day, and I'm finding my hunger has been pretty much non-existent. The other days I've had recently my hunger has been off the charts, as I was trying all-liquid fasts and/or saving all calories for dinnertime. Now that I know how my body responds to different types of DDs, I'll stick with this. I feel great! So, 5 for today!

Jen, that's what it's all about. Once you find what works for you, this is the easiest plan around! I still have the occassional hungry DD, but mostly they're easy and enjoyable.

That's great Jen! Glad you've found what suits your body.

I've had four very hungry days in a row - UDs included.

I'm relieved to report that today's DD has definitely been a 5.
I didn't eat anything till 7pm and I wasn't desperate even then. What a great feeling!
Optional glucpud ready for supper.

5 for appetite and I enjoyed Iron Man 3 at the cinema much more than I'd anticipated. I also noticed that the cinema will be broadcasting a performance of Swan Lake on 6 June (wedding anniversary) so we've booked that (it's live performance by Bolshoi company, I think).

3 for the rest of the day though as I've not been sleeping very well and there were times when I could scarcely remember my name.

5!!
I think that the eggs & ham is the ticket. It's a typical breakfast for mr, but on DDs I don't eat until lunchtime. Today I had breakfast for lunch, and I feel great. My energy level kept increasing as this afternoon's workout went on. And I feel like the string cheese I'm eating right now will definitely tide me over until a late dinner. YAY!!

5! My DDs are getting easier and easier !Love it! I actually look forward to them now, give my body and digestion system a little rest. NEVER thought I'd say that but it feels good.

And it's like today is a DD, and there is no compromise about it, it just is! I'm still new though, gotta keep this up.
