I'd be VERY happy with your dd Number Yam YAM- REALLY

I understand from our rock stars here, it takes practice to do well most days.
Brenda sounds like everybody is looking forward to rid all goodies from our homes and in-turn, rid them from our systems. OH YES!
ITs my UD for me, but planning and evening meal out, of steak, tators the works tonight, so will try keeping low calories until then. Will try liquids for a change, caz I'm not hungry yet.
Good dd guys.

Today is supposed to be my first DD back from vacation, but I know it'll be a MD because I'm having dinner with friends tonight. I'm fasting all day so hopefully I'll make it through until 7pm.

I didn't fool myself into thinking that today was going to be easy. My stomach was rumbling when I woke up, but once I drank some fluids I felt better. Now it's 11:30 and my stomach is loud. I might eat my DD calories today and that is what I love about JUDDD. A few rotations and I'll be back to my old self. I just have to get through Day ONE.

Day One can be a b***h, Lisa! I'm in it with you. So far, so good. I've had coffee with HWC, but less than I usually use (but more mugs!). I'm feeling pretty good and not hungry. Hope the rest of the day goes this good.

So far so good for me but it's only 10:15 a.m. so we shall see.

I'm not crazy hungry like I was on my last DD and that's already a victory.

I have everything I need to make it a really good, low cal DD. Lots of veggie soup, lots of Greek yogurt, leftover beef and chicken plus tilapia in the freezer if I need it, eggs, and some tuna in the cupboard. I love choices.

If the hungries start to get me, there will be evco, hot tea, and some kinds of protein to keep me happy.

I'm white knuckling it today - and I thought it would be easy since I had a great DD on the 31st - I went all day till 7 pm before I ate and stuck with 300 calories. Yesterday's UD was great also - I planned it well (I so agree on failure when not prepared, Kissa).

For some reason I am hungry, extra cold and just blah today. We are awaiting a big snow storm tonight - something about cold weather and warm comfort foods keeps rolling around in my head. I do not want to give in though - I can do this! And as I already know - it gets easier. It's just the hangover from holiday eating. It's no big deal that I need more than one good DD to get back on track...

When I first tried to log on - I was shut out for 15 minutes... I almost lost it. I wanted to get here and be accountable.

Yes I have had issues with the site today too, it has been slow and patchy.

Maybe hot water with a couple of slices of lemon. That is somehow comforting to me. Stay safe.

First DD for me in a while. So far, it's ok. I see more hot tea in my future.
I give it a 4. Physically ok. Mentally (not diet related), sort of a bummer.

Feeling much better since eating lunch. My head was hurting and that was killing me. I've had to race to the bathroom all day so my body is loving the lack of carbs and crappy food going into my body.

Not starting my DD in the sunniest of moods. It's ridiculous but I have to be accountable for how silly this is, my mood has been thrown by an uptick to 126.2lbs.

I know that it's water and sodium, I drank 40floz of water during the night instead of my customary 10-20floz. But still, I'm a bit dispirited.

I know, intellectually, that this will pass and it indicates that I'm expecting too much from one feedback mechanism (and one that I use only for its simplicity, not because it has inherent value).

This constant vigilance is disturbing my equanimity at times.

I understand SlowSure, I was 147 yesterday morning and now at 151 from nothing but water and sodium. Counted great and know all is counted right I just ran in to too much sodium yesterday. It's a bummer when you know you have done right and it still bounces high. Oh well tomorrow is another day and I know there is not too much sodium in my protin drinks and coffee I plan to do today.

Hope your weather is better there now.

DD today after one UuAD and one UD. Looking forward to broth, coffee, and eggs on standby. Nothing to focus on but taking excellent care of myself today. Very happy. (This despite it being -37 degrees outside this morning!!!) 5+ so far. Easy to say at 8:40am.

Since yesterday's DD turned into an UD - and I'm ok with that - for now... I will again try a DD today - mentally I'm a 5! I am sticking with fat and protein today - I know I can succeed... but then I said that yesterday. Seriously - DD t.o.d.a.y!

I've been hailed on, sleeted on, rain-slapped, blown off my feet... Oh yes, this is definitely what an English Literature teacher would call prophetic fallacy but what every schoolchild hears as pathetic fallacy weather.

On the upside, eating is well and truly within bounds for a DD and I'm sternly ignoring DH's attempts to wheedle a stew because, "It's stormy, cold, and wet". It's going to continue stormy, cold and wet for the weekend and possibly the foreseeable next week - extra calories won't prevent that. *hardhearted*

I steeled myself to change and put in the last of the Spring/early Summer bulbs when I returned home and, unpleasant as it was, at least that is now finished. Time for a cup of tea and a catch up with JBs.

I hope that your sodium equalises quickly. We had spiced mackerel last night so that may have upped the sodium for us.

Hail, sleet, rain, wind and cold today - but nothing like the snow storms in the US. We're continuing on flood alert tho' and I had to brush standing water from the garden tonight as well as this morning. Nothing is draining into the ground because it's already saturated.

Good so far it's 1pm had my veggie soup now. That helps.
It's a 5 in my head today.
Same old stand bys that help me even though I don't eat them all.
Shoot for 300 dd.
I'm hibernating several days now. Only out o check feed - warmth for pets.
I fell couple weeks go down three steps, landed where I had the most padding, thank goodness. I'm just overly careful and little scared. Hubby has fallen twice on the ice.
I'm just now feeling my blubber-tail bone has recovered from falling. I had my real boots on too is what was freaky about my fall.
Good day and be careful
