Today is my second DD since starting the plan. My first DD I evenly spaced out my calories throughout the day and did well, but the following UD it took a while to adjust and not feel loopy. Today I'm kind of playing it by year and so far have had a shake 110 cal, some broth 10cals, and a hard boiled egg 78ish cals. I feel much loopier today and foggy in the brain than a did on my first DD. I'd say I'm 2.5... I hope I adjust to DD's soon, and can figure out a way to get rid of this brain fog.

hey jenna!

I'm in the PNW, too.

Re: the brain fog....I get it baaaad, I started a thread about it a while ago. It seems most people think MORE clearly on DD, but I sure don't. I do hope it resolves for you, though.

My DD is going well. I ended up having about 175 cals for dinner and I only had 149 left (for 20%). But, overall I'm satisfied with it.

My DD went well today! Stuck to my plan and felt good about it all day. Did a HARD workout, and I might even be starting to feel a bit of that extra DD energy I've heard about. Worked hard, sweat hard, and no fatigue or dizziness. YAY!!!

I was hungry in the mid afternoon so just drank some water and made it until time for my dinner potato. Time for bed now and I did well. Was a 5 for calories and a 4 for the rest. Got a LOT done today.

It was a 5 for the day. Played and adjusted calories during the day and had a smaller dinner than originally planned, but I really wanted coffee this morning and again in the afternoon. With cream.

Going to meet a friend this evening so I'm looking forward to that.

So far my appetite is OK (5) which is a relief as one of DH's bosses gave him a box of 4 handmade chocolates last week as a thank you for something he'd done and we ate them last night. It's the most obviously indulgent food item we've had since starting in January and I was a little apprehensive in case it triggered the urge to eat more or gave me problems this morning.

Still headache-y but difficult to know if it's the residue of last week's migraine, the changes in the weather, or that I started pterostilbene on Monday.

Doing ok, my appetite feels much lower than my previous DD's, I have a cold though and I think that has something to do with my hunger... anyway I'll take it!

Still doing ok. I had my snacks at lunch, and plan on a small meal tonight. Should be easy, peasy.

Good job on getting through another DD, jenna!

Eh, 4 so far. Trying again for a DD today. I was doing great yesterday until I got home at which point it turned into an UD.

Brought a potato with a couple of tablespoons of salsa con queso to work today. At it with some pickles a few minutes ago. Hoping it won't drive hunger and I can just at another 200 or so calories when I get home.

Ehhhh... coasting at about a 4... Bulletproof coffee kept me going until well after noon. I looked at the clock and sort of said "whoah... missed lunch!" Then I had some fish and green beans (lord, am I boring on DD's -- you guys are probably like... omg, fish and green beans again... very original :P) and have enough for a 240 calorie beef ranchero lean cuisine for dinner.

Feeling pretty good today. I was supposed to go to the gym, but it's too nice out and I'm going to walk. Leaving work late of course, but I'll give today a 4.

About a 4 for me today. Hunger wise everything is great. The not so great is that I have periods of day where I get light headed.

I have been just having coffee with creamer in the mornings, skipping breakfast and lunch. I usually wind up with dinner anywhere from 4-6 pm. This seems to be working for me with my two ptero at 4:30 am.
5!
Today I had a cup of coffee for about 40 calories.
Bedtime snack can be a variety but here go some tried and true ones:
3 Kim's deli pops with 1 laughing cow light wedge and half oz of turkey pepperoni= 100 calories
2 Wasa light crackers with 2T PB2= 105 calories.
10 oz sliced cucumber with sf rice vinegar and Himalayan pink salt= 40 calories.
A 90 calorie yoplait light yogurt with walden farms Marshmellow dip mixed in.

Obviously not in one evening....

Now what to have tonight...

Everyone has their own way of doing this. Dawn and Adi both keep pretty much the same menu on their DD and it works for them. I think it's very sensible as it must reduce all sorts of temptations as you've already made all your decisions for the day (IYSWIM).

my 2nd down day on plan.

I give it a ---- 4 - Not so bad, I guess DD's have a good side too

under 600 cals for the night. no more eating. pounding down some water now to help the old body

day went well and I do see myself relying on 4 or 5 main DD day meals. I will have to find a bit more variety but I know I can do that with a tad of research and measuring/tweaking to make meals smaller.

so far, so good

Today was pretty good. I stuck to my plan, had no hunger or food cravings. The only down side was that I don't feel like doing my exercise today because its about 95 degrees inside my apartment right now. No air conditioning! Blech! Does hauling laundry up and down the stairs count, lol?

About a 4 since I thought I had a potato for lunch and didn't so I had what was left of my LF cottage Cheese. Probably about 1/2 cup or less. Then a pickle and now I am having a cup of coffee with cream for dinner.

Do any of the recipes in the DD Recipes or DD recipe Porn threads appeal to you?

Well done. hauling laundry sounds like it should count as it sounds like it involves a fair amount of exertion and perspiration.

DH starts his modified potato hack tonight - it will be interesting to see how he takes to it. Adapting an idea from you, I'm blitzing down some FF cottage cheese for him as a dip.

I hope today's DD follows along in the good trend you've all established here.

2 been really hungry all day, increased my calories by 150 because of this. Feeling better now, up to 3 at this point, maybe 4 if I can get my mind off food for a couple of hours while I get some house cleaning done.

SS, hope that headache gets better {hug}
