New cars! What a great way to keep busy and ensure a good DD. Maybe a little expensive to do very often. Congrats! Do we get to see you in your new SUV, Soren?

Rebecca, I have the PB2 and have only used it a couple of times. It's really good though. I'm not much of a smoothie maker/drinker, but I think it would be great used that way. I just love my PB too much I guess.

Very early, this DD, but I've already got that great, empty feeling that makes me feel wonderful. I can just feel those fat cells melting away. Let's make this a good one!

on that Carol! I weighed today (which I usually don't, after an UD, ya know) and was encouraged b/c the bounce wasn't huge (wasn't there, actually...)
My last 2 UDs were a bit high, but my DDs are solid.
I can DO this!

re: cars. LOL, I don't recommend it as a EOD thing but we've been researching for about 2yrs, and DH was starting to obsess, so we went and got it done! I'm glad he did all that research though, b/c he knew more about features and packages than the sales guy did...

I don't do smoothies either-- maybe too many years of having protein shakes for breakfast? I like them when I get one when I'm out, but I just don't do them at home.

Anyway, good DD started here, drinking water, may add tea... I think a 5 is on track!

my dd is ok.. I am thinking when today is over it will be around 600. Higher then I would like.. but better then my days lately...
I love to read about what you all eat for your DD. It gives me ideas..
today is 80 cal. greek yogurt, egg white, 6 mac nuts, coffee and salmon so far..
dinner will be a crab stuffed mushroom I think or some chicken breast.. then bed..

I had my Whey protein shake instead of my Slimfast today! It was very good! I will have no problem drinking these! NOW I just have to see how long this will carry me. =D I'm not hungry now.... So that's good. =D

Had a decent day. Ate a few grapes and I had to let loose some stress so I did go to the gym. My mouth is paying for it now but I'm heading to bed in a bit hopefully.

Well....My DD took a very wrong turn!

I was doing awesome, UNTIL I started watching "Eating American Food". It started out as a mighty entertaining thing to do... Then somewhere, it threw me into a triggered binge. I probably ate 600-700 cals more than my daily allowance. It could've been worse WAY worse! But I curb it as much as I could... It was weird! Like I was put into food auto-pilot. I can't even go into the pretty busy "cheat" thread in JUDDD, because it triggers me so bad. I don't know why I didn't think the videos would trigger me. Hmmmmm today is a new day! I'll be sure next DD will be video free. =D

I know what you mean.I was reading the binge thread one day, and it was all I could do not to run and try some of the things they talked about eating (it was a DD). I had to unsubscribe. I'm with you, and want my next DD to be much better!

Rebecca, watching food shows can be very tricky on DDs, for sure. But you did control it in the end, which is a win. And in the meantime, you're learning what you can and can't do on DDs. I've gotten to where I can watch the food shows, and I can cook a really delicious dinner for others on a DD and most of the time it doesn't even phase me. But that took time to get there.

Cindy, I hope you're feeling your mojo coming back. I really don't think it's going to take you as long to drop these extra few pounds as you think. After all, it can't all be fat weight. I'm not trying to give you a bucking up speech. I just really don't think you're as behind as you think you are at this point!

DD today! My plan is a boiled egg for breakfast and a big salad with chicken for dinner. I work today so that helps me keep my mind off of food.

Can I talk about the up day paradox? On my up days, I awake ~ not hungry. When I eat my breakfast, it is enjoyable and then I'm not hungry for a long time. Lunch sometimes goes by unnoticed, dinner is hard to finish. DD's on the other hand....

It's just weird.

I am doing well with a cabbage soup DD--my apologies to whomever first came up with that idea--I'd like to give her credit, but oh my, it has really helped. I don't eat my first serving til lunch, but then I have a huge pot (around 400 calories: bag of cabbage, can of tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and kale with mushroom broth) that is uber filling and so tasty. I add hot sauce and for dinner I add a couple of Tbs of salsa con queso. really yummy.

I've had a cold and sore throat pretty much all month - as a result most of my days have been MD or UD. I've had one true 350 calorie DD so far this month. Today I am trying to do a 350 DD - I should say I AM going to DO a 350 DD (positive thinking)... but my stomach is asking "Where's the food?" loud enough for anyone within 10 feet of me to hear! ACK!!

Today is a white knuckling, fingernail biting 1 so far - let's hope I can post it WAS a 5 at the end!

Thanks Carol and Lisa - my nose stopped running for a bit - that's a relief. I had some broth at 12 noon and now almost 3:30 pm and I'm hanging in there. It's going to be a real mental game when I get home - but I'm determined to ignore my growling stomach and stick to my plan for fish and green beans for dinner and not go over 350 calories.

Checking in...holding steady at 120 for the day, but I plan to have salad and chicken for dinner around 300 so I'm hoping to finish at 420 or less. I stopped by Sprouts and picked up Tofu Shirataki for my next DD. Today has been relatively easy, even working in a restaurant because I've stayed busy. That Makes all the difference for me on a DD.

Goner I sure hope you feel better soon. I was sick all last week. Yuck.

A 5+++ (besides being freezing). Normally at 7:25pm I'm getting ready for my bedtime snack, but strangely I'm not the least bit hungry- weird, but definitely not complaining.
