so easy to be determined on a DD and it's only 10 am. But my DDs have been relatively easy lately - great advice BlondewithaRose as to how to get your mojo back... good luck everyone! I'm shooting for a 5 today!

Ok-- morning of New Mojo Project - Day 1.

Took my vitamins, had some water, need more.

Thought I was hungry (it's 11:40am here) but now I'm ok. Will go check the protein shake supply now anyway. Also, maybe do laundry (for which I've also lost mojo )

So far-- 5 !!!

Good Luck With your mojo Soren!

My DD is at 12 noon and no hunger, but I'm freezing! Sipping cold lemon water isn't helping. I have been buying the boxed organic chicken broth, but not enjoying any brands I've tried and yesterday bought Herb ox chicken granulated bouillon - cheaper and I remember it from years ago. TG I love the flavor - sipping now on 5 calories worth of HOT broth and feeling fine. Checked the sodium - no wonder it's so good - 870 mg in a tsp serving. Glad I don't have a bad reaction to too much sodium, I see a second cup in my near future - and maybe a third.

Sweet lord I'm grumbling today. yesterday my stomach was grumbling early in the day on a UD and now I've got the stomach grumbles. Trying not to give into the grumbles so I'm walking away from my desk for a little bit. Tonight I might have to go out although I wanted to just go home and watch a movie.

I like to shake a bit of Tabasco sauce in my chicken broth!

Do what is best for you! It's okay to be a bit selfish when it comes to our health. Hope your day improves and your tummy gets quiet.

My Halloween DD ended up at a 5+. I had my usual DD foods throughout the day, then took Keira Trunk or Treating. They had food vendors at the event, including my FAVORITE gourmet food truck, Tako (Korean/Mexican fusion), and I wasn't even tempted. No candy and no junk. I was quite hungry when we got home, but had some Zoodles Alfredo, and ended the day at 542 calories and 53 grams of protein (I allow up to 1000 calories and usually end up in the 700 calorie range).

Lunch time here and still doing good. Probably because I ate so many calories last night! I think I will save my mini-meals for later tonight and have a more comfortable Friday evening.

I was worried today would be super tough after last night's sugar-fest. But so far I'm feeling about like I usually do on DDs - pretty good. No hunger yet. Just cooooold!

Carol I'm cooooold too. I've been freezing all well. I keep hoping this means a loss on the scales, but it's mostly been a loss of inches. Need something to warm me up come dinner time.

Messed up DD. Probably at nearly 1200 now, and I don't feel well. Ate a bunch of carbs too. Wait I forgot about the two Carb Smart () bars. That makes it 1500.

Day was perfect, but after my workout this evening I was STARVING and my body was crying for some protein. I had a couple bites of LC chili and some cream cheese. Still at 590 cals for the day - I'll take it!

Making some SF jello shots for a halloween party tomorrow. Oh boy.

I did ok. Added chicken broth with some miso, and an apple. So around 650 or 700, which I'll take as a win.

Saturday DD

DD today, woke up with a sore throat and runny nose (TMI). Chicken broth and diet cranberry juice for me today. If I get an appetite later I have some shiritaki noodles...

I can't taste or smell, I figure this will be an easy DD.

Blonde - me too with the sore throat, and loss of voice... but I feel ok. Hope you do also!

A DD today for me and I just know I will do ok - cause yesterday's UD didn't cause the scale to bounce up - which encourages me to think tomorrow's scale check will be a good one - at least that's been my pattern thus far on JUDDD.

It's already afternoon over here and so far, the DD has been great. Just 200 calories so far (a banana and a protein shake) and later, a portion of hopefully nice and hot veggie soup is waiting for dinner. If everything goes as planned, the day should sum up to about 400 calories.

Happy DownDay!

DD here too-- going to outdoor rugby game (DH's birthday present!) (Canada vs. Maori AllBlacks)-- we're going to get trounced, but we actually support the NZ team

Anyway, it's going to be quite cold, but sunny. I'm dressing like I'm going into a blizzard-- layers, wool, down-filled parka.

I am determined to stick to the DD-- so I'll look for hot tea instead of hot chocolate, and we're brining our protein shakes with us for lunch before the game starts.

Plan to win! Win when you plan!

so far-- the day is a 5. If I don't freeze to death, I'll report back in later
S.

ps. Missed you guys too! Melinda!

monkey, good for you!

Soren, have fun girl! I know this bundled up feeling you speak of! We had high school playoffs Friday night and I looked ridiculous! It'll be worse for the next one, I'm adding even more layers. (it was a DD for me, too!) Have fun today girl!

Sorry all my JBs who are fighting off a bug! Yuck! I guess we're heading into that season, eh?

This DD is pretty good. It's the first DD in a long time I've planned three meals. I actually had chobani for breakfast, and I've had a decent lunch, and dinner should be pretty satisfying too. Maybe that's what I need to do on my not-so-favorite Sunday DDs. Also allowing 500 calories helps with that too.

Sounds like a good plan Carol! I hate feeling *deprived* and if you can overcome that on your worst day, the rest must be even easier. That's a total win!

I did ok at the game-- I was way more bundled than most, but glad for it-- the sun set on our side pretty much as soon as we sat down (game started at 1pm eastern)... and it got COLD.
We found some sun at 1/2 time, and then I powered through the 2nd half (these are 40 minute halves, 20 at the break, the whole thing is pretty fast).
NO FOOD!
and we were surrounded! I won't go into the options, but I was almost nauseated, not hungry.

So-- got a good plan for dinner tonight, and feeling very FIVE about the whole day!

DD for me today, so far a 5

Mornin' Juddd Buddds!

Yes I have a dreaded virus and am feeling pretty lousy. Still have a sore throat and a stuffed up head. I've wondered if part of this illness is my body going through a JUDDD detox. Today is one week. I got my shift covered for today (which is also a DD)..I'm planning broth, tea, diet cran-cherry, water and maybe steamed veggies or a salad w/chicken for dinner.

Soren~ Yay! Sounds like you're getting that MOJO going! I love your "Plan to win, win when you plan"! So true.

Carol~ Weekend DD's are hard but necessary, sounds like you had a great plan for Sunday. I tried doing only M-W F after a while on my first time around & it wasn't as effective but good for maintaining. My DD was on Saturday and I did well.

Flutter ~ Thanks! My DDs are freezing as well....seems to be a commonality among JUDDD'rs.

Monkeypenny~ Hiya!!

Goner~ How is your throat? I'm still icky but trying to mend.

a 3.5 day.

A friend shared a yummy recipe and I wanted to change to an Up day, but got some chicken boullion heated up instead. I've found a use for those "ghost peppers" that showed up in my garden. (No, I wouldn't plant them, I am not into hot foods that much!) I put 1/3 pepper sliced really thin into the broth or chicken boullion, and then heat it up in the microwave. I let it steep really well, until the flavor (and the heat) of the pepper comes through.

Wow, mama!!!! It's pretty hot, but somehow really satisfies. And the capsicum is supposed to be good for inflammation, too. And I think I'm starting to LIKE hot foods, after doing this for two weeks.
