I'm having a weird head-hunger day today. If I pay attention to my stomach, I know I'm not the least bit hungry, but I'm tired and grumpy and stressed (just busy at work stressed--nothing major), and my boss brought in donuts for a meeting this morning. I keep looking at them, thinking I want one. The funny thing is, I'm not really a donut/sweets eater, so I know it's just head-hunger.

Of course, Keira DID ask for donuts this morning and I said "maybe tomorrow." Maybe the cosmos is telling me to take her for donuts in the morning.

Today will be my first legit DD since last Friday. I'm looking forward to it. I love my friends, but all those skinny girls seriously eat all the time. I just don't get it. No fair! Haha

How are you holding up, Lili? Skinny girls all around, I know that feeling! I've always been totally jealous!

My DD is going well, stayed super busy, which helps. I am freezing, though. I hate it when the tip of my nose feels like it's going to fall off. {sigh} I need to go to bed now! LOL

I left the skinny girls on Wednesday so I've had two great days so far. Two of my friends recently had babies and are now researching JUDDD. They kept talking about the changes in me and noticing that I was able to say no when they kept eating.

Finally home from vacation. Today was my first official DD that I actually stuck to. Probably because I was driving all day. My friend made me a cupcake and all I could think was that tomorrow that's going to make a delicious snack.

Felt hungry, but then I stopped for Powerade zero and felt much better. Overall a decent day.

Good work Lili.

My DD turned out a fail. We were invited to a neighbour unexpectedly so I had wine and olives and chips.

So another try today. I'll give it 4, always harder after a Medium Day.

Welcome home Lisa! You did great!

I agree Cindy, this DD seems like it's going to be harder for me too, after my feasty holiday yesterday. My calories were right on plan, but many many of them came from alcohol, steak, and ice cream. Mmmmmmm......

The day is still early, but I assign a 5 to the day so far. No rumbly tummy or head hunger. . . . hope the rest of the day is this easy.

5 for hunger. I was only mildly hungry when I had breakfast and that saw me through to lunch time with no hunger. I had my regular chili for lunch and am still feeling almost uncomfortably stuffed 4 hours later.

I feel really drained though, and I'm yawning a bunch, even though I slept fairly well last night. I wonder if I'm coming down with a little bug and that's why my DD has been so unbelievably easy.

Hi Everyone!

It's my third DD and it's a 4. I ate a 100 calorie english muffin for breakfast and lunch with 20 calories of sugar free jam each time. I was totally satisfied with this and not really hungry until my bewitching hour of 4-5 pm. For dinner I had a can of Progresso light veggie barley soup (120 cal) - this stuff is really filling and I could hardly finish it for some reason. I came in 9 calories under my 389, until ate 3 little mac and cheese noodles from my kids Kraft dinner, literally 3, how dumb is that, but I figure those were 9 calories so I am still good!

Learning that watching Food Network on DD's is not good! Looking forward to UD tomorrow, I have to drive my oldest to school which means we leave early and then I stop by McD's for the littles (this only happens about once a month or less when hubby has a meeting), so I may start my day with an Egg McMuffin, yum, we will see!

So much thanks for this board and the support it is providing for me, I hope to return the favor at some point.

A good 5 today. Badly needed too.

Sorry you are feeling low Dawn.

I have been so grumpy today. One of those where people breathe and it annoys the heck out of me. Class begins tonight so I'm hoping I don't get the boredom munchies. Fingers crossed.

Feeling really hungry today, and unusual smells are making me feel queasy... Sucking down the flavored water to keep the "smells" out of my mouth!

Yesterday was a high carb UD, and I suspect that is the main cause for today's growly tummy - I had bread with every meal yesterday!

I'm having an uncharacteristically hungry DD today. My stomach is growling away and I have that gnawing feeling. My head isn't too hungry though. Kind of weird. I am tempted to have a peach, but I'm afraid that'll unleash the beast. I think I'll wait...

I am having hungrier DDs lately myself. Not sure what that's about, other than maybe my bod really wants TRUE maintenance for a bit. <shrug> got me! Today I caved, though. I was nauseated & super hungry when DH wanted to go out for lunch. I ATE. Not just a salad, either. Whoops! It was good at least!

I was doing fine this DD, but got really hungry out of nowhere at around 3:00, so I had a protein bar. I'll probably still end the day under 700 calories, which is just fine for maintenance (I allow up to 1000, but rarely go much over 600-700). Something in the air maybe?

I'm having a high DD too. I tried the HB experiment and lunch was 220 calories, which is very high for me, as I usually skip it, but I thought it was very do-able. Fast forward to 1 hour later when I caved to increasing hunger and ate a greek yogurt (160) and then decided to slice up a mango that was going bad--at 710 calories now. I guess I could give it a 5 for no hunger NOW.

I think it could be the upcoming change in season as well as the fact that this is a busy, chaotic time for everyone. I find that when things are at a more hectic pace I seem to crave more. Sometimes I'm able to push through it, but when I start to get headachy on a DD I'll find myself slipping a few turkey pepperoni slices in my mouth before bed just so I can sleep comfortably.

Hope whatever is in the air passes soon.

Had a great day today. No hunger at all with one pork sausage patty and two HB patties. I need to thaw some more ground meat so I can cook up some more patties. DH has found my ziplock full of HB patties and is helping himself. Found the sausage patties too. I can't hide my food good enough.

I did it again. Man! Life is messing up my plans lately! LOL! I was going strong with 10 cals only at dinner time when my family wanted to go out for pizza. I stuck with 2 pieces (and was stuffed), so just under 600 cals, best I can calculate. Oh well!

Henush, great job!!! Hope you're having a lovely night's rest now and when you wake up, yumville!

Today is an UD for me, but yesterday's DD was a 5+... no hunger all day till almost bedtime and I managed my planned 350 calories. For some reason, Sunday's are the easiest DDs for me all week. JUDDD

Yesterday's DD was not the easiest ever. We went to the movies and I normally forego popcorn and candy on DDs even when we're at the theater, but TOM reared his ugly head and I had a handful of M&Ms and several handsful of popcorn. This was after lunch out at our favorite sushi place, where I had albacore sashimi with serranos and miso. I came in just under 700 calories for the day, which is not a bad DD for me in maintenance, but with candy and popcorn, and following an UUAD on Saturday, I was sure my boat had sunk.

I woke up to a super tiny new low this morning. Go figure.
