Hmmm, just starting to get hungry. DDs are much easier when they're not rainy & boring. LOL! I'll still rate it a 4 so far...

slow, I so understand why you're frustrated. Hoping today's UD will have you feeling a bit more optimistic! You are doing wonderful powering through your injury...and the fact that you're going to the gym despite it. Crazy amazing in my book. Glad the migraines are staying away!

I've had a lot of liquid today - in fact, so far all I've had is liquid. Had my Coffee/HWC for lunch, and what seems like gallons of iced tea and crystal light. I guess not really gallons, but has to be approaching a gallon by now.

I'm also having a FREEZING cold DD, which I hope means I'll have a nice whoosh soon. Last DD night I turned the thermostat up to 81 and was still cold, so I'll try 82 tonight. JUDDD is so awesome - I'm saving money on food, and now on electricity too! No small thing in Phoenix in summer (where we are supposed to hit 118* by Friday - blech!)

going pretty good today! I just had dinner and I'm good to go. If I'm hungry later, I'll be having cucumbers.

Oh, thank you. There's so much that I want to do in the evening and dragging round or being relatively indolent because my legs are swollen from the day/commute is irritating. On the upside, I'm now 8 days without a headache.

Ouch, I've no idea how people can adapt to temperatures like that. Is it humid or a dry heat? Making virtual paper chains to be ready to go for your Onderland parade, by the by.

I'm so glad you're getting by without headaches! Your MCTs and PS seems to be making some real improvements for you - whew!

Yes, it's pretty extreme temperatures here in summer. It's a very dry heat, which does make it much more bearable. In fact, once you get accustomed, it's actually more comfortable than being in a really humid summer - for me at least. I try and stay out of it as much as possible though.

Thanks for preparing for my parade. Hehe. I'm not sure whether I've actually hit Onederland yet, having forgone the weighing for almost a week, but my gut tells me not yet. My gut, and my hips, and my thighs, and my arms. Yep, they're all telling me not yet!

Melinda, loooooooove your new avi. Looking fabulous!

This DD started out not so great, but I ended up at a 4. Off to bed and looking forward to a UD tomorrow. I have a graduation dinner to attend and I really didn't want to skip the cake.

Had a GREAT DD. Ate breakfast with extra butter melted on my eggs since we were moving the office furniture today and I knew I would not be able to eat again until much later. Did not eat at all and never got hungry. Got home and ate a cucumber with a little salt. Some more water and I am ready for bed. Boy am I tired but we have everything out of our former offices. YEA!!!

My DD is going OK. I haven't eaten much, but just tried a little nibble of bf's food from our potluck today. I made him a plate and he declared it inedible. Geezus, I WISH I could eat it. One of the dishes was spinach/chicken casserole and he hated it. I thought it tasted wonderful...scraped most of it in the dog's dishes so I couldn't eat anymore.

Was it a fun date night Dawn? The cocktails part of it sounds like it!

So far so good. I'm aiming for a higher cal fat-fast day today, like maybe 500-600. Just playing with the numbers. Right now I'm just waiting for that elusive 7 - 10 days each month where I lose like crazy to start. C'mon!!!

It was fun! We went to a very nice restaurant, then got our tattoos, then went to a bar, and partied the night away. I'm popping Ibuprofen like crazy.

Your whoosh is coming, I feel it!!

From your lips, Dawn...

I saw your tattoos on FB and love them! I'm probably dense, but I couldn't see what the symbols are or if it spelled something. Is that too nosy, or is it a personal thing? They're very well done and so attractive!

The picture's not great. We couldn't get a good angle to show them both. I'll attach here too. They are on our wedding ring fingers. He got my initials (D.V.M.) and I got his (J.S.M.). We figured we've been married for 10 years, so the "jinx" of getting a partner's name or initials shouldn't apply anymore.

ETA: Mine's upside down, and his finger is covering the J. I also have two chilblains on that finger, but they're not horribly inflamed, so I hope they don't look gross, lol.

They are really neat tattoos Dawn.

I overindulged on the wine yesterday, dear friend's memorial service and 'wake' is my excuse. I had to take the painkillers before bed even.

But I woke fresh as a daisy this morning and have had a breeze of a DD. 2 diet cokes one glass of Prosecco and a tiny piece of cod, 2 baby new potatoes and some spinach. Probably only 250 cals in all.

A real 5. Off to bed now and looking forward to a sunny UD tomorrow.

As Kissa says, OH DEAR! I was doing my good girl complete fast through 2 open houses (6 hours of them!!), came home and hubby said, "let's go out for dinner." OH DEAR indeed! TG he didn't pick the Mexican restaurant. It was Ruby Tuesdays. {sigh} I had 1 rum & diet coke, ordered the spaghetti squash marinara, had 1/3 of it, but had 2 of their yummy bisquits. Still looks like I'm at 381 for the day. Sure makes for a lovely end to a DD when you can go out and have a cocktail with light dinner.

I get weird when I get tired

Off topic: I got called a "young man" today. The young part,, the man part,

How lovely that both you and MintQ8 were able to attend the service for the friend. I've no idea how the friend's parents are coping with such a tragedy - I hope the presence of her friends at the memorial was a comfort to them.

I think of JUDDD as the George Sands of WOE, ultra urbane and already ready to shake up a cocktail as needed.

It's TOM which I'm not all that upset about since I'm back on the pill and it only comes around every three months, but I literally woke up craving chocolate. I purposely made sure that I left all my errands for today because I knew I would focus on food. I foresee this day being rough.

Can't decide how to proceed this DD. All this talk about wine and cocktails has me wanting to save all my calories for a light snack and a cocktail for dinner. I just don't know if I can do w/o my coffee/hwc this morning!

When I am like this on a DD, I will allow myself to have a bit of dark chocolate & a light mocha something from Starbucks. If that's not your thing, maybe just be ok with a higher cal DD today, yk? be gentle with yourself sweetie! It's only 1 day! I'm glad you're going to be busy, at least!

One of my stops this AM was the gym. I did 35 mins. On the elliptical and a 45 min Zumba class so I am definitely going to add a skinny cow fudge bar into the plan later.
