4.5 for me today. Been busy with errands, that helps take my mind off food.

Came down with some sort of inner ear virus last week, feel like I've been drinking without the extra calories

Gosh, SlowSure, hope you can get up and around soon

4.5-5 today. Been walking and bikeing to keep my mind occupied and it has worked like a charm. Now drinking ice water till I am hungry enough to actually eat.

Pretty good. I'd total it out as a 4. I had mostly fruits and vegetables today, and I was not nearly as comfortable as my Coffee/HWC days recently. Lesson learned. My body likes fat, and protein. Glad tomorrow is an UD.

I want to try the Coconut Oreos but am too afraid to buy a whole package since I will probably eat them all!! LOL

Hope you're feeling a bit better now LCG and Lili!

Today's DD is a 4 for me - i was a bit grumpy by about 5pm, not really hungry but definitely ready for something to eat. And then had to fry onions and a pork chop for DH's dinner - he usually likes to eat around 7pm but i started cooking at 5.10pm. Fortunately he was understanding - the last couple of weeks he's been doing 6:1 and when it was his fasting day on Monday it was him suggesting we ate at 5.30pm!

Yesterday I did get to the gym, but only for about 20 minutes. It was just a low energy day. I ended up a little over my DD calories and I'll give the day a 2, but I'm still proud of myself for making it through.

Justifiably proud of yourself It's also getting to be the sticky, humid season in your part of the US, isn't it which is pretty energy-sapping all by itself.

I went to the gym last night because I knew that I couldn't leave the damaged muscles unstretched any longer. I'm so grateful that it was an UD yesterday because that's the only reason that I was able to stick with it.

I'm tired and sore/swollen this morning which is not a good way to start a DD but I know that the muscles needed it.

I've had a challenging DD. I started off the day thinking I could do coffee/cream all day and wasted a lot of calories that I should have eaten! Now I'm at 685 and maybe still not done. I didn't eat again after lunch yesterday and that made today especially hungry. Looking forward to tomorrow's UD.

I'm hot and sticky, the weather is so close that I've already drunk 40oz of water since coming to bed and it's only 2:30. I've had to prop up my legs to help with the swelling so I'm a little out of sorts.

Ho hum - it shall pass. I'm looking forward to my UD (odd, I'm just wondering about when UD officially begins for me, and it seems like it's 8am on Saturdays or thereabouts).

I've been grinching inside most of the day - I'm being completely irrational about the fluid weight even though I know it's inflammation. There are days when rationality doesn't seem much consolation. So, appetite 3; mental frame 2.

Aw SlowSure, I'm sorry you're feeling that way! I know this injury is really dragging on a long time for you, and that must be so frustrating. But the weight - you are doing great! I honestly can't believe you haven't gained about 10 pounds in inflammation and water with the extent of your injuries. I sure hope you see some improvement very soon friend!

Evie, low energy is a pain! I hope that turns around for you as the day goes on, or at the very least, you wake up feeling much better!

I'd say I'm having a 4.5 today so far. I didn't get to sleep until 2:00 am last night (ill advised, but much enjoyed, Sunday afternoon nap is to be blamed for that) I thought I'd be dragging today, but so far I'm feeling good. Had a lovely phone chat with my BFF this morning. She's VERY interested in JUDDD, and thinks her daughter might be too! I just had my coffee/HWC and am feeling satisfied. I hope the rest of the day goes this well. I have a nice, satisfying DD dinner planned. And I'm feeling optimistic about hitting Onederland very soon. I wish all DDs (and UDs for that matter) could feel this good!

I'm being unrealistic about how long it will take to recover from this injury and it's having a stupid impact on my mood. Reading your lovely note reminds me that I should be more grateful that despite the substantial barometric fluctuations that normally trigger a migraine, I haven't had a headache in 6 days and that is good news and probably says something positive about the MCT oil, JUDDD etc.

It would be so good to know people IRL who are also following JUDDD - especially as you're in such a good position to advise them.

There will be such a virtual ticker tape parade when you reach Onederland.

Hope your recovery continues to progress, SS.

My DD is going pretty well... a 4, I'd say. I've had 90 calories so far, and hope to be able to have some "real" coffee when I get home (with H&H), and a decent dinner.
