DD Friday: Menu and plans

Such a relief to be heading into the weekend.

B: slice of egg bake (ca 100kcals) with 27g tuna (ca 60kcals) and hot sauce (10kcals). Total 170kcals

D: 50g coley fish and 50g prawns (ca 100kcals) with charred aubergine and smoked tomato (ca 35kcals). Total 135kcals

Which brings me just within my total for the day. This will probably be my last DD dinner for a while as the full leptin reset starts from Monday and I won't have the calories after increasing my breakfast and bringing calories forward in the day.

adillenal 04-19-2013 03:52 AM

Dd
B - eggs with SF marmalade, coffee with HWC (220)
L - cold boiled potato, broth (120)
D - same as lunch (120)
Total 460

Silverrain 04-19-2013 04:02 AM

I cannot wait to sleep in tomorrow! I sorely need it!

B: Coffee/1 tbsp H&H

D: Undecided.

Have a wonderful Friday all!! :)

Mamatomany 04-19-2013 04:10 AM

B: Bullet Proof Coffee
L: Herbal Tea
D: Black Eyed Peas and a salad...

Hubs brought home a soda stream and we made a bunch of different carbonated beverages using SF DaVinci flavorings...so I'm sure plenty of those empty calorie treats :)

LiLi914 04-19-2013 04:45 AM

B: Diet Iced green tea
L: Chobani pear yogurt (140c)
Off to the gym after work
D: Turkey burger (200c)

Have a great DD and Friday everyone. So grateful for the weekend.

zipp2play 04-19-2013 05:24 AM

Slow - I wish I could sleep in tomorrow. DD11 has softball games in another town starting at 8:00, she has to be there by 7:00 , we will need to leave the house at 6:15. Hopefully it warms up a bunch! ;)

egg, stirfry 100c
cottage cheese 80c
salad 205c

Not sure what I will have tonight after work. Goal will be around 500c

TryingJudd 04-19-2013 05:25 AM

OOh - mamatomany. I have a soda stream and a whole cabinet of SF syrups and never once thought to combine the two. I know what I will be doing this weekend!! Thanks.

TryingJudd 04-19-2013 05:27 AM

Shooting for a high DD today - 600-700 cals but I have a lunch meeting then dinner with the inlaws so:

B - none
L - hopefully salad
D - hopefully a small piece of fish and salad

SF jello for something sweet when I get home.

mom23kids 04-19-2013 05:33 AM

Mashing 4 small hb eggs with 4 ounces leftover chicken breast and 2tbsp ff ranch dressing and eating this throughout the day, along with one cup of diet hot cocoa with ff whipped cream and sf davinci syrup.

I think it's Silver who is planning to :sleepy: tomorrow.

We've got a canoe trip planned with a fairly early start. It's been swithering between hailstones, sleet and lovely warm sun this week but I'm hoping for a warm day on the river. (I prefer kayaking but the paddle club does canoe trips every so often because it's easier to bring along extra clothes, food and games for the younger members.)

Kayaking is the reason I do 3 DDs during the M-F week and a MD/UD, or UD/MD weekend. I wouldn't want to kayak on a DD, particularly during the Winter and I adore it so much that I'm willing to take the hit on my weight loss of missing that DD.

I hope DD11 enjoys her softball and that your trips there and back are straightforward.

zipp2play 04-19-2013 05:42 AM

OH you are right! SORRY

zipp2play 04-19-2013 05:46 AM

Slow - your canoe trip sounds amazing! Wish I could do that more often! DD11 loves softball. If she could play 24/7 every day, every minute, I think she would! ;)

Kimmietoo 04-19-2013 05:49 AM

Good morning my friends!

Here's the plan for me:

B- coffee with CO and SF syrup 75 cal
late L- vanilla protein shake with 1 tbs dried tangerine peel 130 cal
D- turkey sausage, shritake noodles, marinara 270 cal

Total 470 cal

Kimmie

KeirasMom 04-19-2013 05:54 AM

B: Espresso protein shake (120)
L: Chili w/hot sauce (210)
D: ??

Playing with maybe eating tonight. I usually just have Miso or a tiny salad, but I hit a new low with my last DD and want to slow down the loss.

Have you tried a md/dd combo yet? I've found that this works really well for me, for maintenance :)

I can't tell you how encouraging and inspirational it is to see people discussing their maintenance tweaks which involve keeping their weight up rather than putting in enormous amounts of effort to keep it at their goal level.

:high5:

b_lou_who 04-19-2013 07:11 AM

green smoothie with hemp seeds
6oz greek yogurt
salad or soup or another smoothie for dinner if I'm hungry

I'm thinking about it, or about not counting on UDs. I still tend to watch what I eat very carefully on UDs, as I'm prone to 2500 calorie days or more! I keep it around 1800 and sometimes feel stuffed with that and sometimes I'm still hungry. It's such a weird dilemma to have. :dunno:

I still have a tummy pooch, but will probably always have that. My collar bones are starting to make me look emaciated and I look older as I lose more. I'm in comfortable size 8 jeans at 5'9", so I really struggle with trying to decide if I could go a little lower in weight or if it'll be bad for my appearance. I'm sort of smack dab in the middle of healthy for my height. Ugh.

Kimberli33 04-19-2013 08:46 AM

B-coffee
L-water and tea
D-Maybe a Wendys Chili for a treat :)

Flossyliz 04-19-2013 09:10 AM

I've already had a cappuccino today - 120
So I'm planning
D: 2 large eggs as a mushroom omelette with green beans - 276
S: Glucpud: - 75
Milk in teas: - 30

Total 501.
That's a very high DD for me but I'm trying to figure what maintenance might look like.

Deen73 04-19-2013 10:13 AM

Wow -- some of your posts make me feel like I'm eating REAL high on my DD's -- but, here goes:

B -- 2 turkey sausage links
1/2 tomato
two pickle spears
2 tb. milk in coffee
total: 130

L -- soup with shredded cabbage, chicken and laughing cow: 175

Dinner -- probably a lean cuisine at about 200

shellyshebby 04-19-2013 10:45 AM

I have had a Kashmir dark chocolate cookie 130 cal coffee 35 cal and sf jello 20 calories.
Planning to have a light supper later.

shellyshebby 04-19-2013 10:46 AM

Not Kashmir, kashi! Crazy spell check.

JMBM 04-19-2013 10:59 AM

B: Coffee w/ hh creamer = 20
L: X
D: Grilled salmon, 1 c. boiled potato, 2 Tbsp ff greek yogurt, dinner roll = 390

410 Total

It may also be that your body is still shifting weight around, causing you to look too lean in different places. I've read that your body can continue to change shape for up to a year after you go into maintenance. Plus you exercise regularly, so that may be a factor too?

I'm kind of going the opposite direction-after unexpectedly getting down to 129.5 from doing a few potato days, and getting below my maintenance range, I really liked how I looked and felt. I now want my maintenance range to be a bit lower (still well witbin the healthy range for my age/height). I'm not actively trying to lose weight, but when it happens I'm ok with it :)

LiLi914 04-19-2013 02:19 PM

On my way to dinner and drinks with a co-worker because we need to vent. I don't drink so I'm not worried there, but I really wanted to go to the gym and I am starving. Hope they have salad at the bar. ha! They do have soup so I should be good. I just always hate revamping the DD.

tobelowcarber 04-19-2013 02:31 PM

B: 2 HB egg whites
L: veggie juice (spinach, kale, lettuce, fennel, celery, carrot)
D: beet soup, cup of bone broth, 2 HB egg whites, 10 oz cucumber

227/36 carb

Likewise, I loathe revamping because it's not at all straightforward and I feel out of sorts at having my plans change.

I fear I'm becoming inflexible and more intolerant of change than I would wish.
