UD Thursday: menu and plans

Gym tonight so although I'm planning 3 meals, it may turn into 2 meals which feels like such a waste of an UD and I loathe having to improvise calories on the fly (within a restricted carb/fat framework - obviously, either of those would make it unbelievably straightforward).

B: slice of egg bake with spinach (100kcals) and 55g grilled bacon (165kcals) plus hot sauce (10kcals). T=275kcals
L: seed cracker (120kcals) with 50g tuna (100kcals) and salad (30kcals); soup with gelatine (70kcals). T=320kcals
D: 90g grilled salmon (320kcals) with aubergine and courgette in tomato sauce (230kcals). T=550kcals

I'm a couple of hundred kcals light so we might have a dessert of raspberries with cardamom protein fluff.

I have my trivia game tonight, so will be going out again with friends.

B: Coffee w/1 tbsp cream, 1/2 a bagel and one ounce of cream cheese.
L: Undecided.
D: Undecided.

At trivia there will be beer and popcorn. I've already allotted my calories for four beers (it's a long game, but I doubt I'll drink that many - just want to be on the safe side). I'll also eat a few pumpkin seeds or almonds throughout the work day.

Have a great Thursday, everyone!!

The label reads org spouted wheat, filtered water, org sprouted barley, org spouted millet, org malted barley, org sprouted lentils, org sprouted soybeans, org sprouted spelt, fresh yeast, org wheat gluten, sea salt. I am allergic to wheat but have no obvious reactions to Ezekial bread. I only eat it every other day so that probably helps.

They have a gluten free bread but I have never looked at the label on it.

Sashimi lunch, pork and coleslaw for dinner.
Hmm, that sounds so sparse, but I'm sure I'll be getting enough calories!

Morning all! It's book club night for me and I'm hosting! I have a huge veggie tray, various cheeses, 2 types of hummus, crackers, chips and fruit. OH and wine and for those who don't do wine, Bud Light!

B - 2 eggs, cheese waffle 280c
S - protein granola 190c
L - pork chop and salad or green beans...not sure 400c

That leaves 1000+ for wine and snacks tonight!

Hehe, I stopped at Trader Joe's last night specifically for their pre-seasoned, pre-cooked lamb. Love that stuff! I also picked up some blueberry vanilla chevre, which we'll be trying on crackers tonight. I think I could LIVE at TJ's!

Their rosemary raisin crisp crackers are amazing. They have a really good frozen Indian chicken entree (can't remember if it's tikka masala or something else). Any of their cheeses are amazing. They have good artichokes right now in a 4-pack. If you like spicy hot sauce without a strong vinegar flavor, I suggest their habanero hot sauce. I use it on tons of stuff. The lamb is great and takes like 5 minutes to nuke, and comes out like it was fresh from the oven. It's a little pricey though. I got a nice bag of smallish grapefruits.

I was rushed last night, so didn't get to wander around like I usually do.

Think I miscalculated breakfast. Carbquik is 90 cal per serving but it says 2 pancakes is a serving. However, I think the 90 cal is for mix only. Not added in butter and egg. So I'm thinking breakfast was more around 440 ish. 2 IHop pancakes I think are 200. I'll have to check.

I've been doing 4:3 and so far I'm really enjoying it. Losses are a little slower, but I just enjoy having weekends w/ no DD's.

Wow- a grilled chicken wrap and a side salad sure added up to 750 calories fast. They were healthy, filling calories though. Leaves only 1000 for dinner if I am good this afternoon. I can work with that!

Hey Zipp2Play somewhere there is a Trader Joe's shopping list thread which has everyone's favorites. I could shop there daily -- dangerous place.

I made a batch of Gazpacho yesterday. I had read that it can lower blood pressure if eaten regularly. Also, soup can be a good way to begin a meal. I haven't eaten any yet since it needs to set overnight. I hope DH likes it. He isn't a huge soup person. I love any kind of soup! This soup is only 40 calories a serving!
