What I find particularly interesting about this was that whereas I thought that potatoes were a trigger food and I was apprehensive about the potato hack because of that - I discovered that potatoes only trigger me to eat large quantities if they're prepared with fat/sugar or mixed in with a lovely stew.

I don't know about other people's experience but it wasn't possible for me to eat unadulterated, wholly plain potato in quantities beyond 50-200g.

Did people experienced the same adverse reaction if they switched to rice or started to incorporate rice during the PH? (Ignore this if it crosses the line into being a thread jack.)

I didn't really find the potato hack worked for me either. I only tried it a couple of days in a row and then the odd DD but I found my mouth just felt 'wrong'. Very slightly nauseous too.

I haven't thought of trying it with rice. I really love rice though..........
