Start Date: July 2014
B: Coffee, creamer, mixed nuts.
L: Soup
D: Pizza and some cooked veggies topped with lemon and/or butter as a side.

I have more calories to get in after this food, but not sure what I will have just yet. These plans could easily change up - I'm famous for that! Something always sounds so good, and then something else sounds better so I end up changing my mind. But hey, that's the beauty of this program. Love it!

Start Date: 11 Dec. 2011 Restart 1 Jan 2013
B: 70g mackerel (ca. 270kcals) and a slice of egg bake (ca. 130kcals) with a smidge of hot sauce (ca. 10kcals) - total 410kcals approx.

L: oxtail soup with 20g added gelatine - approx 170kcals

D: 80g mackerel (ca. 305kcals) with courgettes, pepper and aubergine in tomato sauce (ca. 230kcals) - total 535kcals

I'm looking about 350kcals shy of my total so I may add some raspberries and protein fluff to dinner for pudding although I know I should be bringing my calories forward in the day. I'm finding it hard to cut down on eating dinner with DH despite knowing it's what I need to do for the leptin reset.

I'm going to make country pork spareribs for supper, some with Frank's Hot Sauce and some with Sweet Baby Ray's Vidalia Onion Barbeque sauce.
I don't really map out a plan of what I'm going to eat, I just know to save a good bit of my calories for the ribs.

Let JUDDD do it's magic. The worst mistake on JUDDD is to eat too few on Up days!

Shelly, spare ribs is something my family enjoys. I need to buy some tonight when I grocery shop. Then plan when we can have them!!!!

B - 2 eggs, toast, cheese 325c
S - protein granola bar 190c
L - pork chop, peas, 490c
D - non chili chili with chips 600c

that leaves 300 calories to play with at end of day.

For those following this rotation last week, DS14 has been on JUDDD 6 days. He has lost 5 pounds thus far and is very motivated and enjoying how it is going. DDs are tough, but he is managing well. 1000/2000 is what he is following!

I'm not trying to short my calories, honestly.

It's more that if I'm going to do the leptin reset properly (within JUDDD) then I 'should' be eating (say) 700-800kcals for breakfast, 400kcals for lunch and then 250kcals or so for dinner rather than eating the majority of my calories during my evening meal.

I enjoy eating dinner with DH. I'm baulking at the idea of sitting across from him eating a full UD dinner while I sit there with a cup of gelatine-thickened broth. To be fair, I don't think he'd be entirely comfortable with it, either.

DH has taken very well to the higher protein breakfasts and thoroughly enjoys them. I just think asking him to give up the UD dinners would be taken as Going Too Far. Mind you, like lots of men, he only has the haziest of notions about calories so if I planned the dinners really well, perhaps he wouldn't really notice? But then, he'd also have to be eating a lot more calories earlier in the day - and he probably would notice that.

Congratulations to DS14. I hope he's as pleased with himself as he ought to be.

I'm glad DS14 is enjoying JUDDD. Great starting results!

Had breakfast today (ok, so it was at 11am!) so just had a snack at 4pm and decided I'd commit here to a plan so I eat some veggies!

B: luxury muesli with CO, butter and Greek yogurt - 400cals
L: 2 slices wholemeal toast with butter and Marmite, plus chunk of cheddar - 400cals
Chocolate - 50cals
D: mushroom omelette with big cabbage-based stir fry. Yum! 370cals
Milk in teas - 60cals

Total so far = 1280, which leaves 180 for later.
Hmmm, a glass of wine and a few crisps, or some peanut butter on Ryvita?
Decisions, decisions ......

Oh, anything and everything so far! I have a pretty high # to work with -- so far I've had:

B: Cheese and bacon on an english muffin: 250
3 trader joe's raisin crackers with a smidge of cream cheese -- 50
half a Starbucks Grande mocha (darn my hubby for bringing this! lol) -- 205
1 slice key lime pie -- 250

total: 755

Lunch -- Publix 6" chicken tarragon sub: 620
1/2 c. she-crab soup 200

total: 820

That only leaves me about 530 cal. for dinner -- but that's ok, it's a light one -- about 310 for flat breads with shredded summer squash and mozarella on top. Mmmmmm....

One thing that amazes me about JUDDD -- you can put away a LOT of delicious food (as I have proven today -- lol) and still be on plan. Almost looking forward to a nice light DD tomorrow!

Ok if you'll give me your address I can be there around 8 my time. Shucks that would be 9 your time. Guess I won't make it for those spareribs!! Sounds delish. Enjoy!

After my breakfast, lunch, and snack, I am worrying that I may be too full for dinner. And what about the dessert I had planned? Once again, foiled by not being able to eat everything I want to TASTE.

Getting in my UD calories is a challenge right now because I leave for work at 6 am and don't eat lunch until I get home around 4:00 pm. This will only be for a couple more weeks until my temp job ends.

Breakfast - 4 slices bacon, tea with half & half
Lunch - scrambled eggs with shredded cheese, salsa, and bacon
Dinner - cheeseburger in half a flatout wrap, bulletproof cocoa
