I wore my 6's on Monday and actually tucked in my shirt and wore a belt. No muffin top, except right after meals, so I'm calling it a success! Plus, it was the day before TOM.

Today, day 2 of TOM, and I'm wearing size 8 jeans. I have to keep pulling them up.

Goner and Dawn: Fantastic! I'm so happy for you.

Tomorrow is the big day for me, as I take my post-Up Day weight as the 'real' weight. I don't think I am going to make it, as I was at 179.0 this morning, and I usually don't stay the same. But...I will do my best to be a moderate, responsible eater today. If it can be done (with sensible eating, not fasting/enemas/steam baths/etc) I WILL DO IT!

If not, I will make my Labor Day goal a little smaller.

Feeling good overall that I will make it EVENTUALLY.

Way to go to all who hit their goal. I am proud of all who was trying to get ahead. We all tried our darndest to get where we wanted to be.Each and every one tried their best and that is all you can ask for. Way to go to all who set a goal. Today is my DD and I have heard from several people that that is the best time to weight in so I am weighting in for the first time since June 17th and I went from 166 to 159. I am so glad. I have been there before but was using water pills to control Blood Preasure. This weight in is with out waterpills. So I can't wait to see what next month will bring. Only problem is vacation is in that month. We will see!!!!!!!!!!!

I'll measure tomorrow, but won't have any after pictures since the camera is MIA I'm not sure there would be much noticable difference in the pictures anyway, but who knows. When the camera re-surfaces I can ressurect this thread

Thanks every one and yes I am up for Labor Day challenge. Carly you have made me look at weights at the store on the 4th. I have a tape and 3 lbs ones but had no 5 lb like the tape sug. so I was looking for them yesterday. I have more and more hanging under the arm every year. Been thinking about doing this. Hearing you talk about this may be just what I needed to get going.

Dawn thank you for starting me out with my numbers. That was the help I needed to get started. There were 3 of you who jumped in and helped right away and I will never forget that thanks girls. Dawn you look like a totally different person. Lowcarbgal thankyou too! While I am off work I have been reading as much as I can to be prepared for this way of eating. Every thing you all write helps so much.
