18s are fitting very nicely, and 20s are in the donate pile.

Wow! Great going everyone

At my weigh in this morning i'm 161 just 1 pound from my 4th July goal - i didn't expect to still be losing a couple of pounds a week, although long may it last

Wearing my size 6L Levi's today. I only wear them when I'm feeling particularly thin. I think the muffin top has shrunk a little. Just the couple of pounds I've lost since going back to WLM has helped. I'm thinking I might make my July 4th goal. If not by the 4th, definitely before my cruise at the end of July. Nekkid is still another story!

Whoo whoo, bye bye muffin top!!

I have not had a chance to use the arm machines at the gym so I figured my goal of wearing tank tops was out the window. Well, I went out into the yard to water my plants with a tank top on and I caught my reflection in the glass door going back into the house. I don't look too bad! My middle is smaller too so I'm more evened out I think and though my arms are not skinny I can pull it off better than last summer for sure.

I'm so excited that you're doing so well on these last few pounds, Dawn! I'll just bet your period of maintenance helped with the distribution thing and now your body is ready to release a little more. Great job!

I did my arm exercises, but that arthritic elbow was getting cranky. I have to do laundry in a bit and then maybe another round of arm exercises.

Way to go on the arm exercises. I hope they get easier as you build strength and muscle!

As for my goal - "seeing" something in the 160s, saw my lowest last week of 171.5 - and still have a week left! I'm thinking positive!

I met my goals for July 4th early!

I'll keep going to 190 though and start increasing my DD calories and my UD calories until I am maintaining and not bouncing too much higher than 190 and I'll continue on trying to lean out a bit more and increase strength. At least as much as I can without gaining weight!

By 4th of July, I want those same 16's to be loose, and I want to be in my 14Ps! I'll see about before pics tomorrow - no promises though!
Didn't make it. The 16's are on, but not wearable (and not because they're loose like my goal said!) Nowhere near being in the 14's. But I am closer, and I think my arms, shoulders and back are looking a little better, so maybe instead of losing on my "jeans half" my upper half did the losing lately!

I'm looking ahead to our next challenge - is it for Labor Day? That's another 2 months, right? Maybe I'll just carry these same goals forward to that challenge.

Congrats to all who made their goals.

Congrats also to all of us who didn't make it, but kept working hard, and will keep working hard to get there!

IMO, it doesn't matter whether any of us DID or DIDN'T technically "make" our goals. (sadly, I don't even remember mine!) Each of us have won the prize already. We're here and working hard to change our lives for the better. That's more important than the single goal. You all rock!!!!!

Congratulations, Planelman. I bet you are riding high. And to get to it so quickly after a vacation!

I've just looked at your signature for the first time, and I see that you are primal. I have been doing that also, for the last year, and like how it makes me feel. I still have slips, though, and JUDDD has helped a lot with that, in terms of getting back on track easily.

I try to do primal 100% but I also slip up occasionally, sometimes on purpose! Previous to JUDDD though it would take almost all week to get back to where I was the day before "slipping". Now with JUDDD it is usually corrected after 1 or 2 DD's. It's good that I don't have to worry "if" it will come off soon, but also bad because now if an opportunity to "slip" comes up I'm more likely to take it!

July 1 - 3 days to go and I have 1 DD left to see a whoosh. Today's weight was 170.5 and my goal was to see anything in the 160s.

It could happen.

July 3 and my last DD is behind me before the 4th. I hung in there yestesterday that I could achieve my goal of anything in the 160s. And here's the ironic part. In my job, I occasionally teach about setting goals, and the number one thing I say - to insure success NEVER set a goal that requires an unknown variable that is out of your control - a number on the scale is subject to many variables and does not always comply with a person's efforts. In other words, I set myself up for possible failure knowing I could not control every part of this goal. I still set a number goal.

And this time it worked for me. I saw 169.5 today - just in time for my July 4th goal.

It feels good.
