A JUDDD question...
I just started rotations again and am doing very well :). Yesterday was supposed to be my DD and life got in the way. I didn't have an UD but it wasn't a DD either...I wasn't up to my UD calories but was over on DD cals....do I have my regular UD today or should I do a DD? Not sure...I will wait to eat until someone gives me insight :). Thanks!!

Kim

Don't sweat it Kim! Life does interfere sometimes. I prefer to go into a DD well fed, so I would just keep to your schedule and do an UD today, back to normal DD tomorrow. I don't like feeling limited 2 days in a row!

Those kind of days are called mds (mid days). Go ahead and stay on rotation and do an UD today :)

I agree. I'd just do a UD today. Best to go into a DD well-nourished from a good UD. JUDDD is wonderfully forgiving!

I'd probably do a UD too.

The only thing I would add is that it is good to be aware of the RANGE the calculator suggests for you in the way of DDs. There isn't just one answer, but several, of course. Who is to say it was not a successful dd just because it went along with, say, the 35 percent rather than 20 percent calculation. Understanding this can help us realize just how successful we are :high5:
and how forgiving our way of eating is.

Thanks for the replies :). I will do my UD today. Whitlin, sorry for this question...I am a newbie, does that mean I can do different DD percentages from one DD to another? I thought I was supposed to keep to one percentage...? While losing...not sure why I thought that...:) it would be helpful to do that if life happens and you don't expect it food wise on DDs...thanks again for the help everyone !!

You can use differend DD weight loss percentages. We feel that the best losses happen with 20% when used most often, but a 30% DD here and there shouldn't hurt.

Ok...good to know!! Thanks Carly :):)
