UD Monday - plan?

It's already Monday, man, the weekends just fly by!

B - 2 eggs, (only one Easter egg left) toast 325c
S - egg (getting it gone) 70c
L - salad with pepper chicken, salsa, sour cream 220c
S - Reese's egg 170c
D - more chicken.....we didn't have enough fish for all DARN!

When the feathers start growing, I will then know I have had too much Chicken/eggs! I have tons of calories, 1100 ish

Eggs Benedict with creamed spinach
Lox, cream cheese, capers, onions
snack?
Chicken thighs with onion and honey over riced cauliflower

I'm finding I am really enjoying planning and eating meals that are a little special on my Up Days- when I am not clearing out leftovers! Must learn to make not as much food, if I'm not going to be eating every day.

I agree, it's a weird adjustment to make, and you can't usually have your leftovers on the "next" day since it's a DD, so you wind up with leftovers for LONGER too.
I've learned to package my frozen ingredients smaller (i.e individual chicken breasts instead of 6 in a package) b/c we use so little now, on both ud and dd.

Seriously! You have a LOT of eggs/chicken. Careful not to give yourself an egg allergy! Seems you're almost done though, so that's good. I personally have enough mini eggs of various types to open my own dollar store.
We'll be sucking these things back for the rest of the year!

we'll miss you on this rotation TJ!

Stressful morning here-- my boy dog is peeing blood
ran him over to the vet at 10am, had to cancel my morning appts... They put him on antibiotics but are culturing his urine and took blood for testing too.

He's clearly uncomfortable and I'm super bummed

Food:
B: skipped
L: about 100g of beef salami, 6.5 of my ricotta gnocchi (40cal each), and some cauli mash.
iced tea, vitamins.
D: not a clue. I guess lamb leftovers from the other night, that will be easiest.

great, now I'm having a leg cramp I'll get my potassium, and pray for a do-over button on today.

Sorry about your beautiful boy. Lily's getting spayed today, so I am in a similar boat.

BTW: The espresso protein shake . . . I'm amped and haven't had my Quest bar yet. Lunch is in an hour and a half, so I'll be saving calories there.

Sending good thoughts for the ailing fur babies out there!

Soren, I'll probably be back soon on this rotation - The next couple of months have lots of social stuff so I see a few MDs in my future. The good news is they don't seem to derail me. My best month ever was September and in deconstructing that month to see if I could repeat it, the frequent MDs were the only difference I could readily see.

Good luck with the leg cramps. My DH (runner) cured his chronic leg cramps with gatorade. I can't stand the stuff but I think they make some low cal versions.

Thanks guys!

I'm holding out hope that Haka just has a UTI, b/c he seems better already after his first pill this morning (or, I'm seeing what I want to see ) but he's not running outside or peeing on the floor in FRONT of the door , and he's eating and seems to have good energy. The pee we saw at the 4pm walk didn't seem to have blood in it. woo.
Sigh. We'll know more tomorrow...

I'm in a weird situation now today where I only had about 500 cals so far today, so I really need to get my dinner on track.

I'm thinking leftover lamb, sweet potato fries, and a couple handfulls of chocolate mini eggs

really, mini-eggs at will...

End of day- as planned, dinner was lamb, leftover short ribs (beef), some sweet potato oven fries, a whack of mini chocolate eggs. Then some maple kettle corn.
Maybe over by 200. So around 2300.

Lemon water tomorrow
S.

I'm glad Haka seems to be doing better, Soren. It's so hard when our babies aren't feeling right.!

LCG-- I posted an update on today's DD thread, but yes, today we can say no blood in the urine, so I'm thinking the antibiotics are working. Haven't heard from the vet with the lab results though...
