Tomorrow will be my first weigh in since beginning the 4:3 plan. Anxious to see if I've gotten any results. Next week will be a 5:2 as I'm going away for a long weekend with my sister.

I love the flexibility of this plan! I'm in for the long haul........its a lifestyle and let the pounds fall where they may!

I know me too Lori. I could just cry at how happy I am!!! I finally feel like I have found "THE" way! Can totally do this for the rest of my days!:jumpj oy:

Yeah Victoria's Secret ain't got nothing on Hanes! That's my brand too. hahaha. I remember for years shopping in the mall passing that store thinking I wouldn't dare go in there, but now I'm thinking What the heck? Don't think I'd ever brave "the thong", but hey cute undies might be in my future!

Yeah, I'd try that with my son, but he's 23 and 6'1' so I think he'd win that one. lol I love their lotions and body sprays. I love the amber romance!! I wear that a lot in the fall. It's just so expensive. My daughter likes their perfumes too, but $40 for a small bottle is just crazy!

Ok yesterday's UD was under 1700 (right where it should be). Today's was a wee bit high at 1970. So since my next DD won't be til Monday was wondering if I should keep these next 2 UD's around 1500 or lower?

Guess what? I'm no longer obese......merely overweight!! The scale showed a 3 lb loss for the week!

I did a 4:3 week with 3 boot camp sessions and had good results. Next week will be a 5:2 week with a long weekend away with my sister which means eating out and drinking more than I should. I'm hoping to maintain....

I'm anxious to experiment with this plan and see if 4:3 is really that much more effective than 5:2. I've been doing some reading that indicates that many people have the same or even better results doing 5:2.

I feel so at peace with this plan. I know the loss will be slower than I typically strive for, but I'm ok with that.

Have a great weekend everyone!

I haven't tried that one yet, I'll have to look for it next time I'm there My current favorite is Strawberries and Champaign. I also adore Love Spell and Pear Glaze.

After my third potato hack day, my weight was 129.5 this morning That hack works a little to well lol. Now back to 5:2, though I am thinking of making my Thursday dds potato days-it's so easy to do these days and I like potatoes. We'll see!

Nice job Lori.

It will be interesting to see how you do with 5:2 instead of 4:3, can't wait to hear from you regarding this.

I am going to start doing a version between 5:2 and 4:3 myself this week.
Here is my plan and numbers.

UD
M, W, F, Su = 1811

DD
Tu, Thurs, Sat = 362-500 I will really strive for the lower number on DD as I am seeing that works best for most people.

Medium Day
Monday= 1086

What do you all think? Will this work?

Have a great day all.

Rox, some people find it's best to enter a DD well-nourished from a UD. (Think low, med, high - DD, MD, UD, DD.)
Others have no problem doing MD to UD!
Some people find they do better just having UDs and not doing MDs!

Everyone's different. You'll have to try it and see how it works for you.

Thanks Flossy.

I just didn't want to have two UD in a row is all. I still need to lose about 40 pounds, give or take and just wanted to have same UD and DD each week is the reason I wanted to change.

Do you think that two UD at this stage, (starting week 4) is okay?

Thanks for your help.

I'm back from vacation and haven't had a DD in ages. I'm loving the results Sara got from the potato hack... might have to try that to lose the few vaction pounds and get back into my groove. I may just wait till Monday though and jump into my regular Mon and Wed DDs.

Oh goodness, so glad to see your progress! I have to admit I'm stalking a wee bit to see how it's going for you! I don't care if I only lose a half pound every 7 to 10 days! If I can get by w/ only 3 DD's I am ALL in!! Whoo hoo!!!

I'm going to do a potato hack Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I've never done the potato hack, but I'm feeling experimental. Who knows by the time Monday gets here, but right now DW says she wants to do it, too...

Will those be straight potato DD's in a row or will it be UD/DD? I tried it just on DD's but added Greek yogurt. Idk if you're suppose to do that though. I couldn't ever seem to get a accurate calorie count. Anyway, they are very filling so at least you guys won't be too hungry hopefully!

I'm going to do 3 straight days. I'll weigh them, but will eat till satisfaction.

Ooh would like to know results? Wondering if I need to do something like that this week? Birthday is Friday, but my rotations a DD's on MWF. Wondered if I should wait and splurge Sat., or Do three strict DD's in a row beforehand?

Well I'll reoport on the results for sure, but I'd do the 3 DDs and enjoy on Sat. That's just me. Your birthday only comes 1x per year.

I've boiled a whole lot of potatoes in FF broth and am refridgerating for tomorrow's use.

That's what I was thinking. Just seems like it will make things easier to keep up with if I just stick to the MWF DD's. Thanks!
