Thanks you guys. And birthdays are meant to be enjoyed. I do need to remind myself how far I've come, and although I'd like to reach goal within a month so what if it doesn't happen. Quite honestly if I takes me the rest of the year I guess that's ok too as long as I'm heading in that direction. I still feel way better about myself than I did 2 years ago. I was so unhappy and depressed. I have so much to be grateful for!

Good morning JBs!

I almost made my April goal (was +1 lb from my goal), but I lost 5 total pounds for the month, and based on my DD-UD-DD-UUAD-UUAD week before last, I am surprised and so happy about that!

That was a nice dip! Three Up Days in a row have made it go back up, but not THAT much. This was my first planned step-away from the EOD schedule, and it worked out pretty well. I didn't find it difficult to get back into the Down Day mindset this morning.

I am looking forward to my Down Day today, and planning on seeing 188 again, soon. I have a birthday this week, and it falls on a Down Day, and I am planning to stick with it. It helps that my daughter's birthday is the day before, and we are going out for sushi (her favorite, and mine). So, really, I am getting my birthday meal a day early. I AM going to treat myself on the day, though, with a movie and a massage.

Looks like we are all doing great for the month.

Not going to weigh again til Saturday. Going to try one more full week of MWF DD's to see if anything changes and will weigh sat morning after my last DD of the week. I'm thinking Sat. will be my weekly weigh day.

A very surprising drop this morning, after my up Day (which may be related to a dodgy meal I had last night), but I will take it, and hope for the weight to stay off! It may also be connected to the drop I usually experience before my period. Either way, I am happy to have two weeks in the 180s under my belt.

Looks like having April in the title has made us forget to look!

Here's my update. I'm really pleased. I am doing well with my pound per week average, AND getting below 179 by July 4th. I am meeting my eating challenges(social events and period cravings) on my Down Days. I have gotten rid of my black jeans, because they are just TOO BIG! Life is good.

Hehe, I was 158.0 yesterday morning, before the (TMI) mass exodus. I'm maintaining pretty well between 155-159. I'm sure I'll be back up there by tomorrow.

Yes, i know it says April but it kinda got continued on into May :-)

Two full weeks done now and i'm happy with a 3 pound loss this week.

Be good to be back into the 160s by next week :-)

Looks like I am in my hold-steady time of the month. I'm good with it, though: I FEEL thinner. Well, and I AM thinner. I've had to toss a pair of jeans that were embarrassingly loose. And my 'tight' jeans are NOT.

I'll be gone this weekend, and won't be able to weigh, so I might post on Tuesday. I've jumped down a couple of pounds mid-week, and am looking forward to posting a new low number. I know I've 'gone up' according to my weekend weight, but I'm looking at the long term- 10 pounds in 2 months!- and the trend- that 185.0 was a blip in my downward motion. It's not bothering me. Especially since ANOTHER pair of pants has gotten too big on me!

That's how I feel too. Today's weigh-in was 155.8, so my 157.2 the other day was but a blip. And I'm wearing my size 6 Levi's today. That always makes me feel happy.
