Thank you, Zib. I enjoyed reading this. I hope the author continues a series.
My only problem with the article is that the author never clears up the impression that Alternate Day Fasting means zero-calorie fasting every other day, and only gives credit for several-hundred-calorie days to the 5:2. This is not Dr. Mosley's fault, it's just that the only quotes used from him aren't ones that correct the misconception.
Actually, the only difference is that ADF/JUDDD, suggests 3 days a week or every-other-day, and Mosley's 5:2 suggests 2 days a week. But this article makes it seem as though there are such extreme differences that you would get no calories on ADF down days at all.
