*Goal - to lose beyond those first 5.5 lbs. in my siggy.
*New plan of attack - combine WW and JUDDDD.
*I am also going back to weighing after a DD. The bounce annoys me.

4/04 - 224.0

I had an excellent DD yesterday, drank my ACV/lemon water, and peed like there was no tomorrow - and I'm up half a pound.

Here's to a great April! Hoping to get at least into the next decade, heading down toward ONDERLAND. Experimenting with 2100/300 cals.

Ended March at 215.3.

4/1 - 217.6 - DD - yesterday I did not count calories and it was very carby.
4/2 - 217.1 - UD - 2078 - higher than expected after a DD, but I think it's temporary. exercise cals burned 351.
4/3 - 216.8 - DD - 437 - cals burned 359 (my last two DDs were very low calorie, but with no exercise. I wound up needing more cals than 300 due to cardio kickboxing class)
4/4 - 215.8 - UD - goal 2100 - going down daily but no new low this month yet . . .

Chris, to me losing like this would be really more encouraging than the big fluctuations! So best of luck and hold the fort while i am gone!
Off to India tomorrow! Running around like crazy but excited at the same time! Goal for April: Just to enjoy the vacation and do lots of shopping! I'll be happy if I only put on 2-3 lbs but elated if I just maintain!

I am trying 5:2 or 4:3 this month and adding leptin reset to control binging monster.
Goal is to get below 120

4/01: 122.8-UUAD
4/02: 125.4-UUAD

Started Leptin Reset:
4/03: 129.2-DD- 512 cal
4/04: 127.2-UD- 1624 cal
4/05: 125.4-UD

My indiscretions don't show up on the scale for several days so if that happened to me I would look back at the two UD's prior. It will go away but it still is kind of depressing.


Goal for April is to maintain with 136 as my highest bounce weight.

4/03 UD 136.2
4/04 DD 138.0 Potato DD and a lot more "stuff"
4/05 UD 136.8 Have to have a controlled UD since yesterday was my worst DD ever and it almost got out of control.

Scales are really unhelpful snitches and sneaks that aren't incapable of understanding the nuance around a bad day, some swelling, muscle gain etc. What do they know.

Goal tbd as it's taking a while to normalise after the migraine at the close of March.

1 April 142.4lbs (still carrying water gain from migraine)
2 April 142.2lbs (ditto)
3 April 141.2lbs (UD y'day: still water to lose: y'day = 1st UD of leptin reset)
4 April 140.6lbs (new low: still water to lose: y'day = 1st DD of leptin reset)
5 April 140.4lbs (tiny new low: still water gain: y'day = 2 UD of leptin reset)

Didn't make my calories in my 2nd UD in my transition to a leptin reset: I think this will resolve as it just wasn't practical to think of something that had neither high fat nor sugar (still working on increasing fat intake after the potato hack).

I'll sort it, that's why I'm transitioning to rather than starting my leptin reset - so I can solve these problems.

I was going to congratulate everyone individually and then I really nearly all of you were down today (or at least holding steady) So happy for you all April is going to be THE month.

Goal for April: Maintain good nutrition and get more exercise. Ended March at 153.8

4/2 DD: 154.8 Took advantage of the day's lack of tummy trouble and ate ice cream in copious amounts thanks to DH's encouragement
4/3 UD: 154.0 Have really been sick this time and would prefer not to eat at all Luckily I've never had easier DD's but I'm trying to make sure to get in at least close to my UD calories

I'm so sorry. When this happens it just seem to dominate everything else and you* end up second-guessing yourself too much as to what you're doing and how you're doing it - and then you worry that the related stress of all this is raising your cortisol and messing up your metabolism so much that your scales just can't shift.
