April goal: 2 goals actually - hit 174 (no longer obese!) and then the 160's!!!

seriously??? There was too much stress and too much chocolate yesterday and ended in a probably salty restaurant meal but seriously???? Drinking lots of tea and lemon water today. Ugh.

March was not kind at the end, my bounces are out of control and I'm not sure why
so I'm back to posting every day and keeping track of everything to find out.
Goal for April is 119 again and stay there.

Maybe its fluid retention??I was 171.8 on Easter Sunday up from 167.5 that Friday...I bought the weighless cranberry tea at Target and tried it that night(WARNING:do not try it at night) I was up going to the BR all night.Was back to 169 by morning and continued to "go" all day.Ive only used it 2x and am back to 167 today.

April goals: 1) track everything, every day. 2) stick to my calories, no UUAD (and this is going to be a very challenging month with 2 onsites). 3) I'd like to lose 1lb a week, but I'll be happy with net loss this month.

4/2 UD - 240.8
4/3 DD - dnw. Very good day yesterday, ended with a very carby/caloric meal. Drinking lots and lots of lemon water today!

Here's to a great April! Hoping to get at least into the next decade, heading down toward ONDERLAND. Experimenting with 2100/300 cals.

Ended March at 215.3.

4/1 - 217.6 - DD - yesterday I did not count calories and it was very carby.
4/2 - 217.1 - UD - 2078 - higher than expected after a DD, but I think it's temporary. exercise cals burned 351.
4/3 - 216.8 - DD - always nice to be lower after a UD

Nice job Kim, Shirl, and chris For everybody else that's having trouble. Hang in there. The first part of the month is usually the hardest for me.

Goal for April: Maintain good nutrition and get more exercise. Ended March at 153.8

4/1 UD: 152.2
4/2 DD: 154.8 Took advantage of the day's lack of tummy trouble and ate ice cream in copious amounts thanks to DH's encouragement
4/3 UD: 154.0 Have really been sick this time and would prefer not to eat at all Luckily I've never had easier DD's but I'm trying to make sure to get in at least close to my UD calories. The only things I seem to like are apples and chocolate chips in small doses

I'm hoping, I feel bloated and puffy lately. Not sure why. I was just told my thyroid has a bunch of new lesions on it, too. Going for more tests this month. Thanks, I'll try that tea and see if I can get un-puffed

Heartfelt sympathy for the nausea. It doesn't help everyone but can you tolerate ginger tea or something like Buderim Naked Ginger?

I think I'm a bit depressed due to my neck injury, which was made worse this week by my Doctor dry needling again! Always flares it, but he keeps telling me it's the answer?
I know I'm desperate as I'm currently walking around with magnets taped to it! If someone had suggested this too me 6 months ago I would have fell of my chair laughing! This is what desperation looks like.....

I'm so sick of disks that keep prolapsing etc. (I don't want the surgery) that I'm seriously thinking about going to Slovenia for whole body cryotherapy. I'm currently whining in another thread that it's a DD and I'm so cold that my hands are 15C whilst also considering voluntarily going in for a treatment that involves temperatures of -120C.

I shall keep you guys company until 5th April then I'm disappearing for rest of the month. Going to India for a family visit and a sight seeing trip (Tea Planatations and Kaziranga National reserve). So excited! Goal for April: Just to enjoy the vacation and do lots of shopping! I'll be happy if I only put on 2-3 lbs but elated if I just maintain!

I am going to join in here. I just started JUDD on the first of April, after dabbling in it in March. But I traveled a lot in March, so April is the official start. I am doing this in conjunction with EMF (Eating More Fat). In other words keeping the percentage of my calories from fat at or above 70% of my daily calories, my protein at or below 20% of daily calories, and net carbs at or below 10%. Easy on UD's not quite as easy on DD's. But having a good UD makes the DD so much easier.

April 1 272.2 DD
2nd 272.2 UD
3rd 271.0 DD

So is there anything weird about the fact that after a DD I maintained, but after an UD I lost?

Sometimes it takes a day to see a loss from a good DD (after the next UD) or to see a gain after a "bad" UD (sometimes after a DD).

My dh says he sees the scale move more often after an UD than a dd so, it's totally individual, and as said above, could just depend on a particular day.

Goal tbd as it's taking a while to normalise after the migraine at the close of March.

1 April 142.4lbs (still carrying water gain from migraine)
2 April 142.2lbs (ditto)
3 April 141.2lbs (UD y'day: still water to lose: y'day = 1st UD of leptin reset)
4 April 140.6lbs (new low: still water to lose: y'day = 1st DD of leptin reset)

I managed my first DD in my transition to a leptin reset and it was a tad tricky within a calorie allotment of 360 but also because the higher protein breakfast meant that I couldn't have dinner with DH (I had to save most of the calories left over from breakfast to allow me to eat a fibre supplement in the best way I could manage).

I'll sort it, that's why I'm transitioning to rather than starting my leptin reset - so I can solve these problems.
