So I am not liking this bounce after a DD, I only had bullet proof coffee and water. I can't think of anything I did other than on my UD on Sat. I was out most of the day and had to get most all of my calories in after 6:00pm. I didn't get a lot of water in on Sat. (UD) but I tried to make up for it yesterday on my DD but maybe just not enough. I'm also eating more carbs mostly from fruit and a little sugar (frozen yogurt) so maybe that is it. I'm going to try for a higher protein day today and see what my results are after my next DD.

Just focus on getting through what you have to right now and don't be hard on yourself. You're doing what you need to in order to get through a tough time. It just happens sometimes, even when you're doing everything you're supposed to be. The scale is evil! Ignore it! Keep doing what you're doing and it'll come back around. I'm always perturbed when the scale doesn't go down after a low DD, though. I totally hear you.

Like other people who've responded, I'm heart-sorry to learn of your DH's need for such an ominous-sounding test.

As for taking it a day or a minute at a time, well done. There are definitely times when that is the only way to live the life that is happening.

Thanks Flutter for the encouraging words. I don't think I'd be as annoyed if it weren't for our wedding in July and I really want to lose 10lbs, if possible. After July I am just going to be happy going with the flow of this WOE because I love it!! I also have to keep telling myself that last year at this time I weighed 198 so this is a huge improvement! BTW - I notice you are in Michigan. I have a great friend who now lives in PHX who is from Michigan and my hubby-to-be has two wonderful friends who live there now. We would love to visit them when we get a chance.

Come up in the summer of fall gf! It is GORGEOUS here in those seasons. Of course, if you're a winter sports person, it's great then, too. I just am not. LOL! If you do ever visit, please pm! I love to meet folks from the boards. So much fun!

I forgot you have a wedding coming up. Well, of COURSE you're in a hurry then! Gotcha!!!! Just remember, you are beautiful regardless and obviously DF is smart enough to know that already.
