Ok, I know this isn't REALLY funny, and I'm empathizing, really. (I just gained after a low DD and expect TOM any moment myself, so really, I get it!!!) However, You have me cracking up here. DARN THAT TOM!!!!!!!!! Now we have the evil scale, and evil, evil TOM, too!

Getting frustrated . I only weigh after DDs and the scale has been stalled since last Friday (stuck at 159.5). This may be due to the fact that I did some pretty intense exercise on Sunday. Hopefully that stall will end sooner rather than later. My DDs have been perfect and I have been eating all of my UD calories. No other explanation but looking forward to another whoosh!

Lol! Agree it is and isnt' funny at the same time! I had to blame it on something since I had a really good DD yesterday...tons of water and had a gain...TOM is to blame.

So...I was away this weekend at a conference with DH where all meals were provided, including open bar and I definitely overdid it! Damage is done but good news is that I was back on track yesterday morning and am doing well today. Hope to get rid of the 2.5 lb gain plus one more this week.

4-16 175 Another new low!!! Excited but wondering how much is due to still being ill. We'll see as I start to feel better. But its a new low so I'm owning it.

4/1. 210.5 DD 2.5 lb of Easter eggs should soon be gone
4/2 212.5 DD yesterday turned into a huge binge, not good
4/3 213.5 DD!! another full on binge yesterday, can't seem to get my head around this at the moment..
4/4 Really don't want to know, another bad day yesterday

After a turbulent 10 days, back on track
4/14 208.5 UD had two good rotations, less stressed, hopefully on track

I struggle with making all of my UD calories. However, all of the experienced/maintaining and successful JUDDDers here emphasise the importance of eating all of your UD calories in order to maintain the distinct difference between an UD and DD. Otherwise, as Cindy says, you're not leveraging the full magic of JUDDD, you're just following another low calorie diet. (That's very approximate.)

They normally recommend avocado, cheese or peanut/almond butter if you're stuck for a calorie dense, low volume food.

Thanks for cheering me on JBs.
I'm about to meet up with a friend I haven't seen since the beginning of February and she's in for a surprise. I'm a lot slimmer than when we last met. I'm more than a clothes size smaller and my face no longer resembles a full moon.
Looking back, I discovered that I weighed 130.8 when I last saw her, so I've only lost 4 lbs since then. Just shows the awful scales don't tell the real story!

SlowSure, JUDDD should help fix the inflammation, then the water will go.

Mike, eating your UD calories doesn't have to be a chore and it can consist of very healthy food. Try lots of butter and/or avocado on your veggies. Real olive oil mayo on your salads. Oily fish. Nuts. Desserts of high cal fruit like pineapple – with nuts and cream! I don't know if you eat grains but I melt coconut oil and butter in hot water and use it to soak my muesli - and you could add more nuts. Yum!

Dash, If you're sticking to your calorie allowances and rotations, the whoosh will definitely happen. There will be lots of wonderful things happening in your body that don't show in your weight. Check your tape measure and please don't let the evil scales tempt you into giving up now after all your hard work.

Sodium, potassium, post-workout water gain - the body has its own rationale for these things. If that was your first Fitness Boot Camp in a while, it makes sense your muscles are grabbing glycogen and water (I think). A couple of sleeps, some muscle micro-repairs and that should re-adjust nicely.

Today is day 2 for DDs to switch rotation. I ended up eating a 290 cal dinner and had some liquid cals in my coffee. I figured I should eat at least something over these two days.

I worry about the bounce ill see after tomorrow's UD but I'm starting to trust JUDDD I think. I just have to remember this isn't a race.
