Hi all...Question....

I have been working out at least 5 days a week since April 1st. . should I recalculate my ud and dd. I have been sticking with my no activity calorie amounts from the juddd calculator.

little or no work out
UD-1966
DD-393

working out 3-5 days a week.
UD-2539
DD-508

I am a little concerned because I haven't seen any drops since the beginning of the month, and wondered if it is because I am not consuming as many cals as I should.
According to the new calculation I should be consuming more than 500 cals on my ud.
I need advice from those who have had the same experience, because I am terrified of upping my cals this much and having the scale leaping up.

4/10 DD 247.8 - My 1st DD day went really well
4/11 UD 244.2
4/12 DD 243.6 - My 2nd DD also went well
4/13 UD 241.8 - Down 6 lbs already!!!

I am over the moon this morning.
I had been dieting before JUDDD and was having the hardest time to lose even though I was in a calorie deficit equal to what the calorie deficit is now on JUDDD. It took me since January 2 until April 10 to lose 14.6 pounds. Now in 3 DAYS doing alternate day fasting, I'm already down 6 pounds! This can't be just water weight, can it? I'm eating all the foods I was eating on the diet before this with a few treats thrown in so it's not like my body is adjusting to new foods. I'm hoping that some of this is actual fat.

The two things that I'm doing differently this time on JUDDD are:
1. I'm waiting until dinnertime on my DD to eat.
2. I'm counting on both DD & UD.
I think this is making a huge difference compared to the last time I tried this WOE.

I am definitely joining the ranks of converts to JUDDD and other fasting plans!

Wow, some really nice whooshes this morning, maybe it is the lemon water/green tea or what ever liquid we consume. Great job everyone.

I calculated to my best ability and stayed within my UD calorie goal. Going to make it a stellar DD today so I can have a loss in the morning for my official weight in for the week.

I'm loving seeing all the successes here lately!

Ended March at 214.5
Goal for April 209 - 5.5 lbs

4/1 - 214.5 - UD (2267) Here we go!

I am a little concerned because I haven't seen any drops since the beginning of the month, and wondered if it is because I am not consuming as many cals as I should.
According to the new calculation I should be consuming more than 500 cals on my ud.
I need advice from those who have had the same experience, because I am terrified of upping my cals this much and having the scale leaping up.

How tall are you? At 5'4, which is my height, and your weight and age, you should be doing 1718 UDs and 344 DDs. It looks like you may be going over on both days. If it's causing a stall, you might want to lower your calories. OOps, I just read this the RIGHT way, finally!! I see that you did the calculator...you *may* not be eating enough. The only day you should eat more, from my experience, is UDs. You can lower DDs more than the 20% too, and add more on UDs and that will sometimes help a stall.

4/2=120.0 (off to a good start)
4/3=120.2 (not bad after an UD)
4/4=119.8 (was hoping for more but I'll take it)
4/5=119.0 (after an UD YESSSSSSS) I hope it sticks this time!!!!
4/6=119.0 (holding pattern, that's OK!)
4/7=119.0 (still holding)
4/8=119.0 AGAIN!
4/9=119.0 (Do you see a pattern here?)
4/10=117.4
4/11=118.1 (getting used to the bounces)
4/12=116.8 (I LOVE JUDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
4/13=117.4


Karen and Chantal, both of you are really working this program! Very impressive!
