Hello everyone.

Question for those of you that weigh daily. How much of a fluctuation do you normally see from day to day?

I weighed in at 181 on Saturday after a DD day, had Easter dinner, (better late than never) with the family on Saturday for UD, was up to 183.5 on Sunday morning. This is a 2.5 difference. Thought that after a good DD on Sunday that Monday weigh in would have me back to 181, nope I was 182. So another UD yesterday yesterday, back up to 183.5 this morning.

Is this normal?

I had a really great weight loss last week, (4 pounds) doesn't seem like I am going to have a loss this week and the way it is going might have a gain.

Rox, I agree, a few or couple pounds can be normal, and part of the deal if you weigh daily. I used to only weigh 1x a week after a dd, then I went daily, but it was stressing me out, so I'm just doing after dds only.

Cindy, yes, I'm happy with is, though I sometimes go to great lengths to see that lower number on the day after a dd, and I'm worried about the day I don't... Hopefully that's a long way off, since I still do have sooooo far to go.
But I just take it one pound at a time

keep it up, we're almost at halfway in the month!

Goal: 137lbs by end of April and to have started the leptin reset once I've sorted the wrinkles.

1 April 142.4lbs (still carrying water gain from migraine)
2 April 142.2lbs (ditto)
3 April 141.2lbs (UD y'day: still water to lose: y'day = 1st UD of leptin reset)
4 April 140.6lbs (new low: still water to lose: y'day = 1st DD of leptin reset)
5 April 140.4lbs (tiny new low: still water gain: y'day = 2 UD of leptin reset)
6 April 140.6lbs (pleased b/c y'days DD involved dining out at Balkan event)
7 April 140.4lbs (back to low: y'day = MD LR)

8 April 140.6lbs (beginning to fret swollen knees will remain; y'day UD LR)
9 April 140.2lbs (tiny new low: water-logged; y'day DD LR)
10 April 138.8lbs (NEW LOW; water-logged; y'day UD LR)

I don't know how long this will last but I am, finally into the 130s for the first time since 2009 (I'll ignore that I must have passed this figure when I was gaining because that was the wrong direction ).

Yesterday was one of the very few times that I've even approximated to my UD calories: I made a big effort to pad out my lunch by adding 20g of gelatine to my soup and I included olives and a pudding in the evening meal when I realised that I was heading to be 'short on kcals' for the day (it feels so weird to be writing that but JUDDD does feel like it's that different from other WOEs).

If this holds, it's taken me straight past my bogeyman of 140lbs and I've been gently bouncing above that for the last 9 days or so.

Thanks SlowSure. I had an unprecedented whoosh in the wrong direction during the last few days of March. However, I've definitely been losing size while the pounds have stayed up. JUDDD definitely has a life of it's own!

Welcome back Holly. Well done through your JUDDD break!

Oh Adi, I hope you find the cause of all that water. Suggest lots of coffee - and maybe dandelions for now!

I think that if it is okay with you all that I will join the daily weigh-in thread here. As you will see, I am all over the place with my weight. I am about 2.5 weeks into JUDDD right now, starting weight was 187, so overall I am very pleased.

4/9 UD 213.2
4/10 DD 215.2 (ugh - so ready for today's DD!)

I had a hard time getting my cals in yesterday, so had a heavy snack with greek yogurt and peanut butter late last night to try to compensate for the DD today. (which I think is what's attributing to my jump up this morning) Is this common??

4/2=120.0 (off to a good start)
4/3=120.2 (not bad after an UD)
4/4=119.8 (was hoping for more but I'll take it)
4/5=119.0 (after an UD YESSSSSSS) I hope it sticks this time!!!!
4/6=119.0 (holding pattern, that's OK!)
4/7=119.0 (still holding)
4/8=119.0 AGAIN!
4/9=119.0 (Do you see a pattern here?)
4/10=117.4

4/7 - 213.5 - UUAD (late night vodka and chocolate )
4/8 - DNW - DD (396) TOM - okay, last night makes sense now

4/10 - 216.5 - DD (TBD) TOM

I had a good UD going yesterday, until I underestimated the ounces of the steak I had for dinner. Then we decided to have red wine with it. After dinner, I knew I'd gone over, so I went ahead and ate the 2 Cadbury Creme Eggs I got for 38 cents yesterday. Oh well, I'll blame TOM and move on.

Im sure it is water... I always bloat up with migranes and if you didnt sleep well im sure that has something to do with it as well. it will come right back off!!
