Agreed - I'll add my voice to the swelling chorus on that.

Off-topic, Soren, is it you who mentions lemon water? Yennie recommended it to me as I'm still carrying water from the migraine (and, she suspects, the potato hack) so I finally blitzed down a couple of lemons and I've had some diluted and sweetened with stevia (French Vanilla). It was delightful, and had some odd memories associated with it as it foamed up like a snowball drink and was approximately the same colour (I used some Meyer lemons I've been hoarding). Thank you for the idea.

Glad you liked it, I like the vanilla idea!
There is a lemon water thread, I'll find it & link it for you when I'm not on my phone. Hoping you're feeling better!

I have always liked lemon water anyway but after reading this thread, I'm never without lemons in the house.
My dad just got back from Cali where he brought home some fresh oranges. I just cut & squeezed one into my pitcher of water. We'll see how that tastes & works!

I binged 2 times last week and messed up a DD so I'm eating vlc with lots of fat to get rid of the cravings. I just can't have a lot of carbs I'm sick of thinking about food.
I did get back into some jeans I was wearing last year so I do have hope that I'll be wearing the summer clothes I bought!!

Yay Janette! Sometimes those NSV's make you feel better than the scales! Noticed your goal is 125? Mine is 135 to 130. I'm 5'6" and wondered if going any lower than 130 might not be good for my height? Just curious.

I'm 5'3. Last year I could not get below 129. My body just didnt like it! I'm hoping its changed its mind but if I can wear my favorite jeans then I don't care what the scale says!

Yeah, 125 for me may just be unrealistic. I guess if I can maintain between 130 and 135 that would be more like it for my height. Actually, the closer I'm getting to goal I'm thinking well...... maybe goal should be between 140 and 135. So ready to be in maintenance mode! I am really trying to be strict on my DD's, and drinking the fluids! Hopefully, it won't be long now!!!

I'm super late on this, I don't always check this thread

Interesting that you blized the lemons... I assume you mean dropped a whole lemon in the food processor or blender?

I just cut in half, use a handheld lemon reamer to get the juice and whatever pulp that comes out, out. I drop the whole squeezed lemon into the pitcher (and I do 2 lemons) and then add water to the top-- so it will be slightly less than 2L, but I add extra plain water to my glass as I fill it.

I'm using "true lemon" packets (2 per ginormous starbucks water goblet) today, and I think it's working almost or just as well

S.

Just reminding that tonight is PBS re-airing of Eat, Fast and Live Longer at 10:00 eastern. I'm going to record, since it has been removed from YouTube at BBC's request. (you may still be able to find it on Vimeo)

Yes, I cut 2 whole lemons into quarters and put them in the goblet with a little water then blitzed them (I removed the seeds and froze them for the next time that I need more pectin when making marmalade or jam/jelly). It's a 3hp blender so it didn't have a problem and the lemons were unwaxed etc. so I didn't have any reservations about consuming the whole thing.

My Honey's weight was at his lowest since Christmas, so he's pleased. Naturally, he's going faster than I am, but still thinks it is too slow! Men, they don't know how good they have it.

I missed the show on PBS last night(we don't have regular access to tv, so if I don't plan ahead, I'm out of luck.) Does anyone know if they are planning on airing it again soon?

Just came in here to share my thoughts...Is it just me or do pictures make other people depressed? I was having a wonderful moment of fitting into my old size 14 jeans (the april challenge), but the pictures bf took were terrible. All I could see was my spare tire, lank hair and tired looking face. Yuck.

So have had those moments! Seriously I don't see in the mirror what pictures show!

I don't get how pictures come out AT ALL! My face looks totally different than it does in the mirror, or even reflected in a window. I mean, I know the reflection is backwards, it's not that. My features just look different.

And LG, you gotta admit, it's pretty cool to have a guy that says that!

No, it's not just you Cindy. I put on my makeup and look in the mirror in the mornings and think, "not bad, looking much slimmer". Then I'll have a picture taken and it's all jowls and fat cheeks still. IDK!
