4/2 - 20 minutes weight machines, 30 minutes "glow aerobics" (dance-low impact)
4/3 - cardio kickboxing - 50 minutes (intervals with 10 minutes weight training at end)
4/4 - was planning on walking outside, but it's raining, so I'm thinking treadmill today. Muscles need a rest!

Melanie - cardio kickboxing is SO fun. The instructor is amazing.

melanie, you probably already saw the answer to your question, that Carly had had a car wreck.

Raining (and sleeting) here, too, Beverly. I'm so glad to have workouts that let me stay inside and not miss a beat.

Was reading that historians ( ! ) record that Jane Fonda's original VHS tape workout is greatly to be credited with the shift to truly demanding home workouts for women, that started approximately 30 to 35 years ago. Before that, only gym-centered women's workouts were designed to work up a sweat or increase strength, and not much of that.

Oh goodness we use to have the Jane Fonda workout videos! I don't know that I could make it all the way through it now. She still looks great today!

Finally joining in I started walking last month and now that my walking schedule's been established I want to start adding new things. Really want to work on toning stomach and arm (walking has already done wonders for my legs and butt ). Not following any specific plan but will be making my own hodgepodge one, based on years of random work out videos I've done

4/9 walked 2 miles with some sprinting thrown in, 30 girl puships, 100 crunches (regular and side), 12 arm curls with 10lb dumbbells and 60 various arm exercises with 5 lbs dumbbells
Going to spend some time online tonight looking up different ab toning exercises.

Sara I completely understand your hodgepodge mentality

TJ - keep using those weights...having muscle burns more fat/calories at rest.

Today was a mile walk in the rain-sooo sick of rain I spent most of yesterday coming up with a game plan and I'll be starting the 100 pushup challenge tomorrow (I started a thread about this in the exercise section, if anyone wants to join me!). I also picked up Mark Lauren's book, You are Your Own Gym, and I also put a library hold on his new one, geared towards women. 3 days a week/30 minutes a time and no equipment-wall, chair and floor. Very excited to start this plan next week!

So my exercise regiment will be-walking at least 6 miles a week, pushup challenge 3 days a week (7 week plan), and then Mark's new workout book for women 3 days a week, rest on Sunday
