B idli and tomato sauce (approx 100kcals)
L cold boiled potato and vinegar with dill (approx 120kcals)
D packet mash potato made up with water (approx 120 kcals)

Snack of congee with stock powder (approx 40kcals).

Kimberle...you have lost 24 lbs! That is incredible! My dd has to be a little higher..I can't function too low. I won't eat until lunch..just coffee then a shiitake stir fry, and maybe eggs for diner. Slow sure what was your total loss doing the potato thingy? Just curious. I hope everyone has a wonderful DD and a blessed Easter!

Thank-You ,I've actually lost 27lbs this time around(and am determined to stick with it!).Going from 194 to 171 with LC and then transitioning to JUDDD on the 12th and losing an additional 4lbs so far with JUDDD.
I lowered my DDs this week when I had a sick day and found my weight loss to REALLY pick up,otherwise id do the 500 cc

PDD for me today so snacking as needed through the work day on the ~500 cals of cold potatoes I have with me at the office. I have malt vinegar and mustard for dipping.

I'm going to follow your lead, Kim, and also try and do a lower DD again. Seemed to work last time. Plus I had all kinds of junk yesterday, so it's almost mandatory.

Complete sense.I've felt that way so many times before.I'm usually hungry by bed time when I do a complete fast though, the funny thing is, I will wake up not hungry at all and maybe go until 11 or so before eating.

Evenings are always the hardest time for me too. in the past this was my "binge time". i still find myself wandering around in the kitchen, looking in the fridge etc. It is a tough habit to overcome that's for sure!

It surprised me but what worked for me last DD was NOT to wait to eat till dinner as has been my DD habit. I consumed all my calories mid day (starving) and then worked out in the evening and went to bed on an empty tummy and the scale seemed to like that. Eating potatoes during the day today and will work out tonight -- hopefully to wake up to another scale drop!

I've done that many times too, TJ. It always back fired for me or, it made me angry that I couldn't eat when I got home. Glad it's working for you!

I often skip breakfast, have a decent lunch, then have a very small dinner, or just broth or miso in the evening. I find it works well for me.

Yes, I am sad it is a DD. I was really wanting some microwave potato chips today but they are a no no on DD's as I cannot control them like I can a cold boiled potato. BUT I can have them tomorrow.

Today (Saturday) is day 28 and my final day for this tranche of the potato hack. My final weigh-in won't be until Sunday morning but when I started the hack I'd been stalled at 150lbs +/- 2.5lbs for 5 weeks: today I weigh 140.6lbs.

I'm so relieved that it broke my stall. And although that weight loss isn't much by some people's numbers, that's a substantial loss for me over 28 days.

Desperation I'd started back on JUDDD at the beginning of January and by the beginning of March I'd already stalled for 5 weeks.

I couldn't face the prospect of persisting for absolutely no improvement which is why I was desperate enough to try the potato hack and stick with it even when I was (uncharacteristically) quite unwell a couple of times during it.

It was very important for me to prove that I could break a stall. Although I'm (today) 0.4lbs above my previous bogeyman stall number of 140lbs I'm more optimistic about the next few weeks.

This was a shameful DD
Started out good...Dh and I had some business to do a few hrs. away and we got there an hr. earlier than planned.It was around 1 oclock and id only had coffee and water so far.Dh suggested lunch....I decided ,why not we could share a plate.We split some chicken and fries 480 cc for me.That would have been ok(im allowed up to 500)....but thats not my personality...Id decided earlier to fast today and Im an all or nothing kinda girl.I was mad at myself and felt like id blew it.
So being at 480 put me in a stupid funk...we made it home by early evening and Dh decided to eat some tortilla chips and salsa con queso I had bought for an UD....they attacked me when I was walking by them I yelled for help but was then assaulted by a bowl of vanilla icecream...it was an UGLY mess. Probably ended the day at 1500 cc so not even a good UD...kinda a high MD.
I know whats wrong,this whole holiday weekend is messin with my head.We celebrate Easter with a HUGE dinner and it was suppose to be a DD for me,and making it a MD or UD has been bothering me all week.I just been starting to really lose again and felt stuck between a good weekend loss or enjoying the weekend with my family.Some would say ,you can enjoy the weekend w/o eating...some would say this is a wol and that means you need to enjoy family events,some would say its a wol and they follow it regardless of holiday,family,vacation,ect because that is why they were fat to begin with.
I need to find my way....and I will.I'm back on plan already.I can tell this weekend is gonna rock the boat but oh,well,thats life for me
