I am very interested in the Down, Moderate and Up day.

I just started. day 3 for me.

would it be wise to try this and get into this pattern now?

or best to work it down and up as intended and see what happens?

when I see changes to things I have to ask 'should I be doing this also?'

thanks for any input.

Trigger, try posting in the 3-day rotations thread. You're right about the pattern though: D, M, U (small, medium, large). I think it does work, by making your calories more consistent, although that is the opposite of what JUDDD is supposed to do. I have been threatening to try it, but can't get past the UD mentality after a DD.

It's ultimately your decision, but I always recommend doing JUDDD, as written, for a month before making any changes. If you don't do the plan the way it's intended, you'll never know how well it "could have" worked for you.

but ya know what---I so agree. I am staying put. I must try the plan as written. it might be the perfect situation for me and I might walk right by it and never know.

staying put for now. I agree Dawn. sound explanation to keep me here right now.

thanks everyone!!!!!

Trigger, I agree with the other BUDDDs and with your decision. I'm trying the 3 day rotation, but I've been doing regular JUDDD for 10 months already. It's been wonderful, but I'm slowing down a little and trying to "shake it up" right now in case my body has adapted somehow. I think you'll have great results from regular JUDDD.

I agree. Give it a try the way it works so well for so many first. I resorted to the 3 day because EOD wasn't working so well for me. Everyone is different. The SIRT 1 benefits of EOD are worth the try. Good luck!

Thanks guys. I agree. but that 3 day rotation was so interesting to read and was dragging me toward it.

but you are all right. I must do it as written to learn and adapt before even think of changing things.

I'm just checking in. Not making any changes to my rotations, since I've been indulging in UUUUUADs lately, and lax DDs (definitely down, just not in my range).

I also realized this past 2 weeks were PMS and TOM, so that combined with the stress/sadness, I understand better why I've been sooooo hungry, unable to control myself as I would like, and the super-teariness last week especially.

I"m back on track today, DD. Have a UD with all meals out tomorrow (seeing 2 shows in 1 day), should be interesting, but do-able. I'll just skip breakfast, and go lighter at lunch, maybe just a nice big salad, and then to the irish pub for dinner.

to everyone!
S.

Hugs right back at you, girl! I'm so glad you're starting to feel a bit better and have a really nice UD to look forward to tomorrow.

You've had such a rough time lately.

Okay, this is a test post, to see if my new icon shows up and how it looks. Fingers crossed!

It worked! Thanks, Honey.
