Favorite things to do on a DD

I usually try to stay busy but daughter is sick and the weather isn't that great today.
Painted nails and going to take a hot bath.

What are some of your favorite things to do on a DD?

Hot bath- for sure for the DD shivers (Any DD)
Laundry (Weekend DD)
Go to the movies (I don't care for pop corn) (Weekend DD)
Get a manicure (Weekend DD)

Cook, believe it or not! Yesterday, I started fermenting some pickles, made some homemade salsa and put it in jars to give away, and baked some banana, zucchini and lemon poppyseed bread. I would love love love to take a hot bath, but I only have a shower stall. Also, since the weather is good, I like taking my dog on a walk. I think I may start biking again, if it isn't too hard on my knees.

I was reading through the old threads today. That definitely helps me make it through a harder DD. remembering the benefits of JUDDD, finding new DD menu ideas, passing time:)

Shopping, cleaning, hot showers, reading and planning DD meals. :) Oh, and FB games, JUDDD forum, internet...

TryingJudd 03-17-2013 02:43 PM

reading, surfing the internet, walking -- staying OUT of the kitchen!

Planning what I can eat on my next UD :) lol

It sounds crazy but the best time for me to organize and get rid of junk is on a DD. Usually I will start on a closet or something trivial and "wakeup" 4 hours later with no desire to eat and have my house organized and labelled :hyst:

LoCarbGal 03-18-2013 09:40 AM

Me too on the organizing/getting rid of stuff! I love doing that anyway, but I seem to have extra zeal for it on DDs. My house is pretty organized at this point, so I may have to hire myself out now. :hyst:

-Play FB games (yeah, I do waaay too much of that! )
-Fix all my vittles for tomorrow's UD :yahoo:
-Get lost in my Kindle

I do sometimes cook too-- if you just *know* you're not going to eat it, it's not that bad.
Food shopping, same idea.

watch movies/tv
read
take a bath
go to sleep early
run up and down the stairs doing laundry
folding/putting away said laundry
plan my meals for my UD.

Jbinme 03-19-2013 03:59 AM

clean. That's what I'm going to do today
I also like to get out of the the house on DDs. Shopping and the library.
Last year I loved to exercise on DDs. Passes the time and makes me feel good. I need to start that again.
