I would agree with the caveat that you're not out of control on your UDs. All the SIRTs in the world won't help a 4000+ UD!

I think it is best to eat as much as you can on your UD, as long as you are losing weight of at least 1 pound per week. The reason I think this is because i don't want your body to get used to the low calories. I want it to get use to the highest calories possible, that way when it is time for maintenance, your body will be used to the higher calories, and transition to maintenance will be easier. This is just my theory, i have not made it to maintenance yet, and am only about half way there. If i start to lose an average of under 1 pound a week over a months time, i will lower my calories,. hope that makes a little sense
Yes! I'm glad I can have a few UDs that are higher than 1580 with out gaining. I kept my body guessing and my metabolism revved. It was initially a little hard to eat the 1900+ UDs, but I made sure I did and I am really glad, because if my body got use to really low UDs and really low DDs maintenance would be no fun... and I'm having a blast!

No problem Rene'. That's what we're here for!

I would say you're probably not in this for the weight loss, at 123 pounds, am I right? So you don't need the weight loss percentages. For maintenance at 50%, I calculate 765 DDs, and 1530 UDs, for an average of 1148 per day. If you wanted to, you could probably get away with 500 DDs and 1700 or so UDs, but you'd have to play with it and make sure you don't gain at those levels.

For weight loss you should be 1530/306. 20% WLM is what most of us use for best weight loss results. You can go to the JUDDD calculator and play with the higher percentages. Most people start with 20% and adjust from there. I actually did more like 10% WLM while I was losing. I capped DDs off at about 150 calories.

Okay

here is how MY brain works. ..... eat less loss weight..... eat more gain weight...

I know that is probably not right. My question is should I eat more on my UP to hopefully lose a few lbs?

I am SOOO frustrated.... I watch what I eat, stay away from fried fast food. but I have gain about 7 lbs and it all gathers at my wonderful love handles.
LOL

Just trying to find out something that will work for me.

Thanks

You know that 123 is very slender for 5'4". Your body may not give up much more weight without quite a fight. I'm 5'2" and 123 and wouldn't blame my body if it didn't want to get thinner w/o a struggle. I'm getting into an exercise and toning regiment to get less flabby and more toned. What weight are you looking to achieve.

Rene-you rotate your calories every other day.Eat up to your JUDDD UD cc on day #1-mines 1800 if i remember right yours is 1500ish,right?,then the next day you can eat up to 500.Most DDs I eat alot less than 500.Aiming for minimal cc on DDs.Some do liquid fasts on their DDs but up to 500 is acceptable too until you feel you can eat less.Hope that helps! You wont see a fast loss but you will lose on this plan and be prepared for the BOUNCE.
