DD Thursday - Plan?

Not sure how mine will go. I am NOT feeling well at all. What I thought was a minor allergy/sinus thing is a full blown COLD with major sinus issues. I took a bunch of meds this a.m. and when I do that, my tummy gets upset if I don't eat something....so...

So far 2 boiled eggs
Aiming for a salad, if not, I may do soup.
That's what I did yesterday. yesterday was a LOW Up day, I just felt so bad I couldn't eat.

Goal, 700-800c. I am allowing more for the sickness, if I just don't feel like eating, it will be less.

Awww zippy, I'm so sorry you're feeling icky! I totally understand the sinus stuff, too. Mine are hinting at the seasonal changes coming up. It's the only thing that's bad about spring/summer/fall! Take care of yourself!!!

I'm planning nothing but a late afternoon latte again. With the splash of skim in my coffee this morning, it should put me at 180 for the day.

Monica idk if you've tried rinsing your sinuses with saline, but my ENT highly recommended it for me to do it daily. I've had 2 sinus surgeries due allergy problems and it really helps flush all of those allergens out. I use the Neilmed pump. You can get them at the drug store or walmart. I use it also when I've had bad infections and it really helps open you up. I would of course maybe call your physician and ask them what they thought just to be sure, but thought it might make you feel better.

Feel better Monica! I agree re: the Neti Pot...it has helped me feel a lot better when I've had sinus issues.

My DD:
B: 3 Wasa Crackers w/lc cheese and sf apricot spread. 115 + 1 tbsp creamer (10) + 1 hard boiled egg (70) = 195
L: Shake - US Vanilla Almond Milk (30) 1-2 tbsp FF Greek Yogurt (25) + 1 tsp sf strawberry syrup (5) and Stevia (0) = 60
D: TEN spring rolls = 250

Brings me to 505...BUT there is NO way I will finish all 10 rolls so I'll prob end up at about 475.

Hats off to all of you doing liquid days/no calorie days. I am SOOOO not there yet. I've seen some losses over the last few days but will wait until Sunday to see if they stick.

I think I may go back to eggs on my DDs, sems like I did better on the scale when I ate them. If I am hungry at lunch, I will have one, and maybe bacon. If not, I will wait til dinner.
Have a good DD everyone.

I have used a neti pot daily for years. I think I started back in 2007. I agree, they are the BEST! I tried this a.m., but my nasal cavities were too swollen. I will try again tomorrow. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm afraid to weigh myself today - I feel bloated. I only have access to my scale 3 days a week, I could always weigh tomorrow after today's DD. Ah, but won't it be fun to see a drop after today? Ha - assuming there is one!
Anyway...I am also hoping for a liquid day. So far I'm working on coffee with CO and SF vanilla syrup. Water, tea, more coffee today.
I have some potato soup if needed for the day. If I do eat, it will only be potatoes.
Mamasita left today to time to get cracking - out of maintenance and back in WLM!!! Hopefully my body will cooperate!

I use to use the neti pot, but it didn't work as well as the pump. I never could get my head tilted right to use the neti pot, but that pump shoots it straight up in there. I had much better results, but if you're comfy using the neti then just stick to what works best for you. Hope it clears up soon for you.

Yeah, I have a little bottle of saline I use it like nose spray, but also I'm "suppose" to use the sinus pump once a day. It's not hard to do it. I'm just lazy and don't do it enough. Just squirting saline up there daily is probably better than nothing.

Errrgh, I'm getting hungry! Trying to hold out..... Had a teensy bit of milk in my coffee (20) and 1 c. chic broth (10). Somebody had a cabbage stirfry or something that sounded really good and low cal, but can't remember. I thought about using some CO to stirfry some cabbage, mushrooms, onion, and maybe some peas...? Wasn't sure if it would taste good together.

Aw, Monica, that blows (pun intended ) I hope you feel better soon! Rest, is the best thing you can do...

I'm still onsite in CA, and my resolve is wavering today... probably too many carbs yesterday...

B: lemon water
L: I brought in 2 v8 (70 each) but I'll look at what the catered lunch is, and maybe take some salad too
D: I have a frozen dinner for 180, a frozen dinner for 330, a bag of broccoli for 100, and a yogurt for 100.

Even if I ate everything, it wouldn't be the worst DD ever, but I'd like to keep it around 500 for the full day, so maybe the 180 meal, the 100 broccoli, and the 100 yogurt... we'll see what happens...

S.
