That's what I thought, too!

Lori, cute new picture of you!

Kim, eat those calories, though, girl! It's hard when you first start and you feel so stuffed on an UD. (you'll adjust)

Maybe a snack while I'm out.
Well the snack was a S'bucks sandwich so I wasn't hungry enough to start making my taco meal. Sorry DH.

So we had some ready prepared roast vegetable with so chilli and coriander shrimp and some Felafels! And a some white wine.

Kimberley that seems like a lot of calories still to use, even on an UD. Are you very young AND very tall?

DH just texted me and reminded me he won't be home (out meeting a prospective client--keeping my fingers crossed for some income coming in), so I won't make it to Zumba. May try to do a bit of Zumba on the Wii. I'll probably pick up rotisserie chicken and nuke a sweet potato for dinner instead of KFC too. Hmm, may try to fit in a 1/2 of a shamrock shake!

I am going to have to pull it together on my UD. I think I need to quit eating out all together, or at least no eating at places where I'm not sure what calorie counts are. I try to guesstimate and google items I've eaten to see if I can get it close, but just seems awfully vague. Anyway, no worries. Planning on an awesome DD tomorrow! Wouldn't bother me too much, but I've seemed to have had the past few UD's way up. That and I think I need to do away with the brownie thing because I have a hard time with self control. I like McDonalds vanilla cones and they're only 150 so I think I'll have that instead of the brownie.

He wears a couple of hats. He has been in various sectors of public safety and safety management, but the bulk of his career has been in either private investigation, or insurance fraud investigation. Currently, since he was laid off in January, he's trying to establish a private security company. The contract he just got is for an after-rodeo dance one weekend, and a small concert another weekend, but for the same venue. 6-10 guards each event, so pretty small, but it's something.

Awesome, and good for him. My hubby used to do that - not run one but work for one. Worked at the swankiest hotel in the city, carried bags for the likes of Will Smith... hubba hubba!! Course, not like I ever got to meet any of them. Now he's federal and still gets to meet interesting people. Last week it was some bigwig from Lululemon. He gave her my opinion on the 1/2 marathon they did last year - and some of my ideas for how they can change things this year. He came home & told me that and I thought - wow! he does listen!

So, the taco squares ended up being about 350 cals per serving. I was expecting them to be closer to 500. Oops! Instead of hitting the bakery we baked Bisquick shortbreads for strawberry shortcake. I added some vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce & whip cream to get my dinner cals close to what I needed.

What a hardship...eating ice cream & caramel sauce on my diet!!

Dawwn-that is so great for your husband, I'm sure that is some weight lofted off

LCG-the stew, is just a green chili pork that I make in the crockpot.
Pork steak cubed, floured and browned, then throw it in the crock pot with green chilis and stewed tomates(2 cans green chilis, 1 regular can stewed tomatoes) and then just barely cover everything with water. I season it with salt, pepper and garlic. I use about 1.5 pounds of the pork (this is the weight after cutting off the bone) on high for 4 hours. It is one of my favorite go to recipes I was thinking last night it would also be good with some cubed potatoes.

it is easy! You have to use the fatty pork steak though, lean pork doesn't really work. Let me know if you try it, and I hope youwon't think it's not good! lol

This sounds really good Sher! What is the calorie count per serving? I bet it would be good over rice too.
