Gluc on Up Days...
It was recommended to me by my friendly neighborhood Vitamin Shoppe manager that I still take the gluc tabs on my ud's as well as my dd's before or near each meal. He has heard of the diet and is impressed by the results he's seen and/or heard people get with it. He recommended taking them daily because of the fiber and because taking gluc reduces the amount of cholesterol and fat the body absorbs. The problem I'm having (although it will not stop me from taking them) is that it makes it even more difficult to eat on my ud's because of the feeling of fullness that the gluc gives me. Does anyone also take them on their ud's?

I never took the capsules since I bought bulk gluc and never used it on UD's. I saw no reason to. I still use the gluc on DD's if I make potato soup to thicken but have kind of worked my way past having to have it as a crutch. Plus gluc stops me up so I use it sparingly.
I do take pterosilbene daily if I can remember. |

Same here Yam-Yam lol...definitely does NOT stop me up. I love that I'm getting the extra fiber though!

I have capsules. Carry them with me when I travel so I can ensure fiber intake when/if eating gets complicated. Break them open and add the powder to my breakfast bone broth DD and UD when I am at home.
Well, to be honest, I eat so many veggies I don't always add gluc to BB. But then, I take gluc (Japanese call it 'intestinal broom') for fiber, I don't buy the cholesterol is evil concept and I monitor my fat intake. |
