I'm typically a slow loser. It's inspirational to read about other people's losses and the remarkable velocity with which some achieve them. However, our personal metabolism is what it is, and it's the one we need to live with if we're to settle into the sensible WOE that is JUDDD.

Pavewife, if you want speed then sticking to 20% is wise, but if you need more food on a DD to be happy, then by all means choose a higher percentage. You will simply lose more slowly.
