Woke up with a cold bleh. My son has norovirus though, so I'll take the cold over that any day!

I'm so excited this is working for you Adi!

I finally jumped on the potato bandwagon after months of swearing you were all crazy (the years of LC mantra, potatoes are BAD helped ). I'm amazed that it really does keep you from being hungry.

Had 1 no hunger 400 calorie DD and went to a brand new low. Decided to try a Potato UD yesterday and while not thrilled with my menu choice was 1 lb below usual UD weight this morning.

So I'm doing another Potato DD today.

Breakfast: X
Lunch Dinner: 500 calories of sliced yukons, baked in broth (so good!!!)

b_lou_who 03-11-2013 07:09 AM

thus far:
a sixth of a cup dry farro, cooked with ground vanilla bean, then added couple tablespoons almond milk and sprinkle of organic erythritol, APPLE

Librarygirl 03-11-2013 07:38 AM

Nothing on my plate!! I got up too late to make coffee or tea, and without cream (to me) let's face it, it's not worth it. I'm going to go as long as possible without eating anything today, so the plan is to eat no more than 371 cals OR less! :)

SlowSure 03-11-2013 07:50 AM

Breakfast: black coffee and sugar free gum

Lunch: 100g cold potato casserole (potato in watered down SF ketchup)

Snacks: bowl of congee with a little chicken stock powder

Dinner: 100g potato casserole (as above)

Total of approx.300kcals which is OK for a DD.

Lol. Yes, it is.

Just drinking a cuppa (that's English breakfast tea with skimmed milk).

Not been hungry yet today, which is good because I was over cals both days this weekend. :o

Dinner will be a yummy mixture of cabbage, tomato, mushrooms, courgette (zucchini) Greek yogurt and smoked mussels - with a generous dose of cayenne 'cos it's snowing here and cold! About 200cals.

For supper, a sesame Ryvita with a sliver of cheddar.

That should leave me enough for an emergency cuppa and tot up to a DD of just over 300 cals.
:yummy:

I am a college student living on campus currently so I do not have the opportunity to cook, everything is microwaved food unless I go to the cafeteria to eat, but I'll stick to the cafeteria for the Up Days.

Roman, Wendy's chili is a good DD choice at only 210 cals for the small. :) Lots of us love to have it on our DDs.

Wendy's chili is fantastic for dds, especially if you bring it home and add hot sauce :yummy:

Progresso and campbells both make canned light soups, that range in the 60-100 calorie per serving range. You get two servings per can and you can nuke them :)

Ugh! I couldn't stomach another potato by lunch on my 2nd Potato DD! I like my potatoes w/ onions and ketchup or butter and sour cream! LOL

Goal - Around 400

B - sweet n spicy tea 0 cals
L - smoked chicken breast w/ guys sf bbq sauce, bit of broccoli slaw 175 cals
D - small wendys chili 210 cals
S - 2 saltines 28 cals

I plan on NOT snacking on a lays chip here or there once I get home! :o

Happy Monday!

Trying an experiment today with unflavored protein water in my grape water. If it works I may add it to my DD line up.

B - Coffee w/half & half
L - Scrambled egg w/2tbs hot salsa
D - Trader Joe's chicken sausage and cauliflower

That will put me at 435 for the day. The protein powder is 105 for the scoop, which was mixed with 64 oz of water. I will have no problem drinking all that. Also chugging gluc pills before "meals". If I feel the need I have a cup of s/f jello to eat as well, which would put me at 445 calories for the day :)
