As soon as the weather gets better I will definitely start walking again in between visits to the gym. I did take my dog to the park on Sunday and walked around a loop 3 times (which is supposed to be a mile total) but I really can't wait to walk more!

I got in my 3 this a.m., not sure the other 2 will happen. I have 2 meetings today. Either way, I will get in at least 1 if not 2 of my weight routines too!

1 hr walk today! I'm figuring about 2.5 miles because I'm not really power walking. A little faster than a leisure stroll so I'm guessing 2.5 miles.

It was nice out today so after lunch I took my students for a walk outside. We circled the school which was about 1 mile. So glad I got out!

I did a short walk after I got home today. I haven't been walking for long lengths of time, but I am making an effort and that's a start.

Didn't walk this morning. Walking buddy had a sore knee, but we may try this afternoon.

Add me to the not walking list. I have a major cold that is kicking my BOOTY right now. I will sit out for a couple days.

Waiting for dh to get home and then I'm heading out for a mile, which will get me to my 3/3 miles for this week Next couple days will be really busy, but I'll reset my goal on Sunday and would love to get in 5 miles next week! My ultimate exercise goal is 10 miles of walking a week, and then crunches/10lb dumbbell weights 5 days a week. Slowly working towards it!

I did 18 minutes on the treadmill at the gym tonight, at 7.5 incline, and I got frustrated because I couldn't hear the TV, so I stopped. But I signed up for a free hour personal training session at 7 am tomorrow! That's early, I don't know if I will make it. I hope I do.

well, needless to say, I didn't make it..I should know myself better than signing up for such an early class. The only reason i did was because they only do it Mon thru Friday, and all the after 5 appointments were taken. Luckily there were 2 other people assigned for the session, so hopefully THEY showed up! The trainer was going to be there anyway, so if no one showed up, then he got a break-that's how I'm looking at it.

OOps! I was wondering how you posted on 3/15 and then said you didn't make it the next morning and it was still 3/15? Then I saw where it was 12:45 a.m. when you posted the first time. Of course, I am 3 hours ahead of you, I think.

I wouldn't have made it either.

JM, riding your horse for 4 hours sounds so awesome! I used to have a paint horse, well it was my ex-husband's, but I took care of him because my husband was gone for months at a time. Sad though that I never felt confident enough to saddle him up and ride him by myself. I imagine if I rode for four hours, my butt would hurt for days!
LG I think I must be 1 hour behind you because it says that I wrote that post at 11:45 pm my time. Thanks for this thread BTW, it is the only thing that has motivated me so far

I walked today and I am elated
I've been mapping out this route in my mind and it covers 2.5 miles. I woke up super early and started out before sunrise, and I walked and saw the sunrise. It was great. I walked across a busy street to start my route( it wasn't too busy at 7:30 am though). Anyway, I haven't done something like this in forever!

Yeah, I loooove it. And yes my hiney was sore. However, I rode a walking horse so not too bad. I've got a quarter horse filly I ride also. She's a lot of fun. I actually get my heart rate up when I ride her rather than the other one where you just pretty much sit there. I'm planning on getting on her a lot more since the weather is warming up.

Just got back from an invigorating morning walk. I think it was under a mile, but I was pushed for time. I would have liked to walk longer...next time I will have to get up earlier!
