4.5 hilly walk yesterday but I just went to the park to walk this morning and I must have pulled something in my outer back heel while walking yesterday and I can't walk on it I felt it last night and this morning but thought maybe it would work itself out once I started walking....nope

Watch that Nicole. Is it on the bottom of the foot? I ask because I suffered from plantar fasciitis for over a YEAR! Mine was so bad I developed a heel spur. Don't mess around with that, it is BAD STUFF. Let us know how it is later today!

No, trust me, that's the first thing I thought of too and it scared the crap out of me (I've also had it before!). It's on the outside, back of my heel--in between my ankle bone and Achillles tendon and it's not on the bottom of the heel--more on the outside back. It doesn't hurt at all to push on it so it must be deep. Only hurts when I walk LOL If I had to guess, it feels more like a ligament/tendon strain vs a muscle.

Nicole, maybe do some extra calf stretches to see if that loosens up those tend/muscles in that area???

No walking for me today. RAIN RAIN RAIN, tomorrow, much the same! Hoping for a break to get some miles in

I got rained out the day before yesterday The pain is a lot less so I think I just strained something. My new route is 3 miles of LOTS of big hills!

I did a kettlebell workout instead and thought I was going to die in those mere 20 minutes! LOL It's on the PrimallyInspired blog if anyone wants to check it out. And this is what she has to say about Kettlebell workouts:

6.87 miles for me today. I walked to work today, which was 3.5 miles and took me an hour and a half to get there. Once there I walked the rest of the way doing my regular work.

My day for a long walk, so 10 miles for me this morning - no blisters this week, woo hoo - i tried out my new 1000 mile trekking socks (it says guaranteed no blisters on the pack) and they seemed to do the trick

By the way, Wren, was that your view??? I think I could easily walk 10 looking at that too! Nothing like that here in KS!!!

I got in 3 this a.m., nothing at lunch today as we are taking DD11 to church to head off for CAMP!
