Is this Moderate Exercise?

In calculating exercise for Dr. J's website, I was wondering if you'all would consider this medium exercise?

3 x week - advanced belt taekwondo class (75 minutes per class)
3 x week - 20 lb. kettlebell routine (20 minute class)
5 x week - tummy tightening routine (10 minutes)
3 x week - eliptical (20 minutes)

Thank you for your time.

I would be interested in responses to your question, too. I can't figure what would be a high amount or moderate. To me, this seems like a lot, though!

The general feeling around here is not to count exercise when figuring your calories. We recommend 20% WLM w/ no exercise when getting your calories and after 2-3 weeks if that is not working for some reason to adjust, but most of us do not wish to add back the calories we burned exercising. As humans we also tend to overestimate how much we really burn when exercising.

I just bought an eliptical machine which will arrive in 2 days. I plan to use it 6-7 days per week 30 minutes a day at the least. I will not be adding extra calories unless I drop way, way below where I am right now.

Personally, I think it's what you do ALL DAY that is most important to your calorie expenditure. Meaning, do you sit at a desk and drive to work or do you have a physically active job?

I have never done the lowest level. I have always used Light exercise with 20%. I am a firm believer in it's what you put in your mouth that counts more for weight loss than any movement. HTH I have exercised the entire time I have been following JUDDD

I have had years when I exercised like a crazy person and yet lost no weight because I didn't worry about my eating habits. Then I hurt myself and could't do anything but walk (which by the way, is very underestimated). Since I didn't consider this 'exercise' at the time, I started counting calories, and lost weight.
Now, I exercise not to lose weight, but because it feels good and makes me stronger.
