Weight Loss in February?
 
I've simply gotta start the monthly count-down as I've broken my stall...after three months, I lost 3 pounds this month and a couple of inches around the waist and abdomen...the pants don't lie.:jumpjoy:

NO loss for me in Feb. :sad: Transitioning to 5:2 to see if that helps but will stay on the JUDDD boards for inspiration and support.

February was a really whacky month for me :stars: WL stalled so I decided to call goal early and started exploring options for maintenance. I ended up losing 1lb while still on JUDDD and then another .5lb with the 8/16 IF window + WW SFT (which I'm test driving for maintenance). So total loss for February was 1.5lbs :)

I lost .2 from 171.6 to 171.4. Which I am happy, I at least maintained for Feb. Just get use to the program, looking for better progress in March.

I've always wondered how folks claim lbs gained back then lost again? For instance, I had a low of 187 in January, and only got down to 185.8 in Feb, but was down 4 lbs from the start of Feb at 189.:dunno:

Cindy -- I use the last after-down-day weight of each month (whether that's the last day or the first), but I say you count it however you want to. :)

So according to my statistics, chris, you would say you only lost 1.2 lbs in Feb.? That's how I've *been* doing it, but according to my weigh-ins, it's 4 lbs.

If you weighed 189 on the first day of Feb, then you weighed 185 on the last day, you lost 4 lbs in Feb. If you weighed 189 on the last day of Jan, you subtracted 189 from whatever you weighed on the first day of Jan to get your total weight loss for Jan. So you're not claiming weight loss and gained back. It's a running tally. Don't know if i explained that right.

Example: if you have $20, and you go shopping and buy a $5 pair of socks, but you change your mind and get a refund, and then spend that $20 on a pair of earrings, you have spent exactly $20, even though $5 of those dollars were *lost* and gained back.

I started JUDDD in October 2012 and I had my very first gain during early February, it was only half a lb and I didn't count it in my Feb total loss.

On the 1st of Feb I weighed 178 lb then on the 8th I weighed 178.5... after seeing the gain I stayed off the scales until the last day of the month. On the 28th I weighed in at 176 lb, so I see it as I lost 2 lb in February and not 2.5 lb.

:laugh: I'm 5'6, it's just tbe way dh was angled when he took the picture. He did custom make the door though- we converted our living room into a master bedroom and it had curved door ways so dh had to make curved doors to fit. Door still needs to be painted yet :)
