UD Monday - just in time, too!
I was crazy hungry yesterday... ate a bit over my DD cals, still in the WL range, but I was upset with myself for "giving in".
However, maybe the lemon water had some effect, b/c I'm down a bit today anyway Plan- B: eggs and bacon L: maybe leftover pork ribs (or maybe I have these for breakfast, since I haven't eaten yet..) D: italian sausages, peppers, onions, over dreamfields pasta! S. |

B: Everything bagel with cream cheese, coffee
L: Banh Mi D: Rotisserie chicken, green beans, crescent rolls, wine May hit the gym for Zumba tonight. I'm a bit sore from Zumba toning yesterday. Keira's going back to school for the first time in over a week today. I'm hoping her flu is finally going away. No fever for 2 days, though she still has a cough. Mine's much better. No fever and just a little bit of a cough. |

Soren, your dinner sounds delicious! I haven't made that in ages, and I now need to get that on the menu!
Dawn, I hope you guys are on the mend. Sounds like a bad one! Today will be a challenge, as it'll feel like a DD until dinnertime. I've promised family fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and peas. I've already logged it all in, and I'll have to really skimp all day until then......I think it will be worth it though! B: Coffee w/HWC L: Either an apple or a greek yogurt D: Fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes w/gravy, peas w/butter

Ooooh LCG, I hope you have extra b/c I'm coming over!
![]() Dawn hope everyone continues to feel better. Are you doing honey (in a spoon, straight) at night? I swear it was the turning point for me in January for calming the cough at night. |

I've been giving Keira tea with honey. I haven't used the honey myself though. I hadn't thought of just honey on a spoon. Hmm. I really need to get some local honey instead of the store bought stuff.

Dawn, I swear, the doctor I saw when I'd been coughing for 2 weeks (after ensuring I didn't have an infection like bronchitis or pneumonia of course)... said Honey, straight, right before bed.
I was like, ![]() and she said, I swear by it. And now, I do too. I slept that very night. Woke up 1x, had more honey, slept the rest of the night. Manuka honey if you can find it, but any will do. I think, thicker the better. Honey, lights out, sleep. boom. healthy. |

Ok I googled a nutrition guide for a japanese restaurant and their shrimp and chicken teryaki was 771. So looks like I may be ok. With the dinner, breakfast, lunch and snack I've totaled at 1676, but I had some salad with wasabi dressing. So, I've probably cut it very close to my 1741 calories, but I feel ok even if I went over a little bit. By the way I found a good website that has tons of restaurants that has calorie counts of their menus. It's Dotti's Weight Loss Zone. Idk if it's the same dottie that post here a lot, but that's who the website is named after. Anyway, I use it a lot to get cals when eating out.

Different ending to my day:
No yogurt...had some Portuguese tartlets (3small) instead. Over on cals, not outrageously, though I had to estimate in my tracker a bit. Only 2.5 left for Wednesday though ![]() |

Well, Keira's first day back to school went well. She said she feels fine. Whew!
I felt well enough for Zumba tonight, and had to have a protein bar after, not because I was hungry, but because I needed the calories! Ending the day at 1761, or 1291 Net if you count such things (burned 470 at Zumba!). |
