I did this for awhile, but have since given it up. It worked fine for me to not count the CO calories when I did it as follows:
First thing I consumed in the morning was bullet proof coffee, aka BPC (coffee, 1T butter, 1T CO whipped together). Then I didn't eat or drink anything else with any calories until at least 4 hours later. Then I'd eat my normal 500 DD calories. I was losing really well during this time, so it worked for me. Others have noticed they can't do it w/o stalling. I stopped doing this because I just got kind of sick of the BPC. I didn't enjoy it as much as coffee w/HWC, and it was giving me a slight gaggy feeling. So I just stopped. Now I use my CO for my skin and hair, and I just did my first oil pulling this morning with it. So try it! See if it works for you. It sure does help stretch the DD calories, especially in the beginning when DDs are tough.

I always count the coconut oil I eat, but not the oil I put on my skin.

Yep, oil pulling is swishing it around and through your teeth for 10 minutes. It wasn't bad. I half expected it to feel gross, but it didn't. It got very watery, and tasted nice. My gums have been a bit inflamed lately (I tend to have that) and I thought the pulling might help that.

I stalled when I didn't count the CO. Some people lose better not counting it. Try it and see.

I don't count the CO in my coffee on DDs. I only use it on DDs as I use HWC on up days, which I do count. But like previously mentioned, I also leave a 4 hour window between the CO and my next food item. For me my last few DDs have been potato ones so maybe the continued loss is more from the potatoes than the need to count the CO?
Who knows, but its working for me so I'll go with it. |
