HI GUYS~:hiya:

Well sorry i have been MIA I started somthing new for my next leg of my journey
For past 3 and half weeks i have been lifting weights thru a resistant home gym and my hunger was un real as i tryed to keep to the JUDDD rotations..
I now eat to fuel my muscles and have dropped JUDDD by the way side..Im sad that i am no long doing the rotations any more and miss helpling newbies.
I have put on 4 pounds that dont seam to want to go any where!!!
But at my weigh and messure.. with those ugly 4 pounds came an 11 inch loss!!
I am seeing changes not only in my body with tigher body parts BUT also in the love and acceptance of what my body looks like at this leg of my journey.
For id say the first time in my jouney.. i look FORWARD to flexing in the mirror naked!
I no longer see my skin the way i used to ( ugly) I see the suttle change as it happens and ive learned to love some of the new lil rolls in the belly that was just a big undefind blog of skin before
I still come to check in on you all every once in a while but.. dont post much due to i am on a differnt path now.. I miss you all.. and will drop a line a two as i go.. Hope all is well with all my JUDDD BUDDS
( 4 pounds equals.. 6 days weight traing, 3 days cardio and about 1800 cals every day) So i just wanted to put this out there in case any one was wondering where i went

Great to hear from you Kimberly, and wow, you really are doing fantastic! I'm so happy you've found something that is making you see your body differently, and in a good way. 11 inches is ......WOW! Who cares about 4 measly pounds when you've lost 11 INCHES!

Thanks so much for letting us know "where" you are. You are missed here, and I hope you'll always come in and post, even if you're not actively JUDDDing!

OMG, that is inspiring! I'll bet those 4 pounds are muscles that look good on you. And 11 inches lost-- WOW! Are you doing the resistence training every other day, to let your muscles recover between sessions?

Congratulations Kimberly!! You've done fantastic! You lost 11 inches in 3 weeks?!!!!!! Holy Moley!!!!!!!!!!! It's taken me 5 months to lose 4 inches! That is absolutely incredible.

Thanks girls..~ I work out 6 days alternate upper body and abs every mon, wed, friday, and then work out legs and butt on tueday, thru, and saturday.. My carido i do in the eve every mon. wed, friday do to i need to rest those wobbley arms lol.. I bust my arss and it feels so good to get stronger! I have calf muscles now that are femine defined,,never before have i had those,, and of course i have some serious arms starting to happen.. soo cool to see that my journey is FAR from over,, and getting stronger and healthy is where i am headed.. I miss you all dearly~

I downloaded The New Rules of Lifting for Women (or something like that). I have only read a few chapters, but it's something I'm interested in. It's inspiring to see how well you're doing!

Dawn i think you would love it.. It is shaping my body like nothing ive ever seen.. After losing 60 pounds i made what i called a mess of my body, i hated it more than i did when it was full with fat.. Well i now can hope that i will and can have that body i so desired! Try it you ll love it

I had been following you on FB and knew that you were working out! I joined the gym, but in truth, I really working out at home. I have a work out bff, that I meet at the gym. I need to just make it a daily habit like you my friend!

Do you think the 5:2 approach would work better for maintenance along with weight lifting/working out? Surely, you could get in your work outs on the 5 "normal" calorie days and still benefit from the healthy aspects of fasting.

ETA: I'm not suggesting that you change what is clearly working for you, Kimberly. I'm only "thinking aloud" about what might work with exercise and still having 2 fasting days (for me, or anyone who's interested). Sorry for the thread jack!

That is kind of were I am after losing 72lbs. I don't feel great about the state of my body. I have to be very careful with how I exercise, but I want to get better toned and like what I see. I tend to get a very sore right elbow with my little weights or resistance band, but have to give it more of a chance.

You really inspire me Kimberley!!!!!!

I am at 117 pounds. There may be no hope for this deflated body, but I can at least try.

Kimberly! It is so good to hear from you!! I am stuck at your 11 inches lost!! Holy Cow, girl!! I am not now nor have I ever been a person to exercise! In fact, I will go well out of my way to avoid it! But, when I see someone change for the better(esp. in such a short time!) I wish I could/would do it!

I remember how heartbroken you were and struggling with your shape after losing weight. I am so happy for you that you're getting to a place where you can appreciate your body and what you've done for it!!!!

just made me sad that you felt that way, I am so glad you are doing this for yourself. And it is so encouraging to me, because if you can do this,maybe I can too when I lose the weight.

You read that right.. 3 weeks of lifting.. upper body one day lower body the next and i dropped 11 inches in my body.. so heck ya im hooked!

Funny thing here is this.. I lost faith in what i can do..I gave up and said this must be the best i can do.. Well i relaized i only gave it half the effort.. its a 2 part plan,, lose weight yes.. which i did.. but more important is to work out the body and build muslce.. i cant belive i was soo lasy for so long.. I am glad i stopped lying to my self~
This years goals look like this on my fridge.
1.Wear Short sleeves and feel good about it
2 See my navel standing up with out help from my hand to lift the muffin
3.. Love my self!

My hubby put me on 6 days.. and at first.. i wanted to be a whiner and say,, no no no. thats too much.. wha wha poor me.. but then i sucked it up and said.. hey! Stop getting in my own way of progress.. Yes its goin to hurt.. yeas it will take time.. it will require dedication and healthy choices.. but WHEN I REACH THAT GOAL ITS GOING TO BE SO WORTH IT!!

Actually.. JUDDD kind of gets stuck in your habbits after a year doing it.. March 1 is my one year here.. and i find that on Sundays which is my day off of work outs, i feel i should have done a down day just to see if it would reset those 4 pounds, So last Sunday i did just that.. and ..... they were still there on monday
