confession time, I tried to change away to 5-2, fast 7= 12 hours of eating for me.
I wt about the same as when I turned over to that woe.
So that's a real surprise to me today. It's been about 2-3 weeks that I've eating way out of line, for me. ![]() But w. 136.5 this am. I'm cool with that, but can't handle the constant thought of what I'm going to eat next, and when...I was like yikes! So back to plain Juddd way of eating. My first real dd in 2-3 weeks! Fingers crossed for me guys? ![]() Just feel better having a eat less on the dd. i can do this. Oh our green house is total FUN! Been starting seeds like crazy. Burpless cucumbers are up an inch, tomatoes also! I think I will need to get a job to pay for my greenhouse addiction......not. Smile |

I go back and forth on doing 5:2 or regular juddd for maintanance. I've read all the gazillion threads on mumsnet about the 5:2 plan and so many are losing weight or maintaining nicely on it. And our own Dawn is having great sucess maintaining with it. However, i'm nervous that i may start to gain on it, because i don't count my ud calories and think my low eod dds are keeping me in check. I'm thinking of creating my own hybred of the two plans, but still working on what that would look like. I think it would include one low, 300-400, calorie dd a week though, even with me being on maintance.

Good job, Ei! You're doing great! I'm so glad you're having fun with your greenhouse. I wish I had a green thumb. Where in MO are you? I'm from KC area, and have family in the Clinton, Lowry, Osceola area.

Your green house sounds lovely!
Sounds like you are doing great. I know what you mean about sometimes it's easier to have a DD where you don't really have to think about what to eat. Just don't eat or eat very little. I had a good DD yesterday. |

My sister lives in Eudora Kansas.
We live in Joplin mo area. Actually our address is Carl junction mo. No one knows that very small town attached to Joplin, so we go with saying Joplin. South west Missouri. Funny I not have a green thumb. I'm trying to Chanel my grand mother that did. She could grow anything in a pile of rocks. We r having fun though. The company we bought the greenhouse it from said to pick a pretty day to put the Gh up. It's been lots of days/weeks but we are close to being finished. It's been a big job! W 've had upper windy days and it hadn't flown away. SO guess we get to keep it. Thank u. Ei |

For maintenance, I think 2 DDs one week, and maybe 3 the next week would work well. I do think you would still have to count calories most days in order not to have 5 UUADs a week, but if you stick to your numbers it *should* work perfectly, I think.

The calculator I just used said 1744! That sounds pretty nice.
Wow! Or even at 500 cals, you could have 2200 (5 days). I did the calculations for you, not me, lol. |

How long did you give it Adi? Maybe it takes more than 2 DD's to even out.
Or, maybe you could do 3 1500 cal days, 2 2200 days and 2 500 days. |
