Fairly new JUDDDer, with a couple of questions!
Hello everyone,
My name is Jessica, I'm 23 & from London, England & I've officially been JUDDDing since January 7th, and so far I've lost just under 10lbs on JUDDD and 75lbs since December 2011, in total. I started JUDDDing after my weight loss hit a plateau, and wanted the health benefits of IF after looking it up. This has been the most effective version of IF for me (and most beneficial) I feel amazing and I do actually have a lot more energy. So far, so good. I have just a couple of questions. What's a good number of down days a week? I currently have Mon, Weds & Fri as my DDs and Tues, Thurs, Sat & Sun as up days. I was wondering if that's what is usually done? Or if there's some sort of unspoken standard that I'm not aware of lol. And is it better to do JUDDD low carb? I've browsed around the LCF JUDDD forum, and you all seem like a solid bunch. I can't wait to get more involved with the forum Thank you in advance! |

![]() Juddd follows an every other day rotation schedule, but some do fixed day rotations and don't have any issues, so just experiment and see how it goes |

During WLM most of us did every other day rotations. In maintenance I switched to M,W,F DD and UDs T, TH, S & S, but my weight is ever so slightly creeping up, so I'm going back to eod rotations for a while.

Jessica,
Welcome! As the gals above said, most of us follow an EOD schedule which leads to 7 DDs every 14 days. Many of our friends do LC but just as many don't. If I recall, a few gals have posted about their experience trying JUDDD LC & found that, for them, it didn't make a difference. However, for some people, the carbs and/or the gluten continue to cause troubles even on JUDDD so they combine the 2. HTH!! |

Hi Jessica &
! So glad to have another JUDDDer with us. I would say that if you're losing well on the schedule you're on, stick with it. If it's slower than you'd like, or slows down, then try strict EOD rotations. I've only done EOD myself, and I like doing it that way. I was doing Atkins before switching to JUDDD, due to my losses slowing way down and wanted to shake things up, which JUDDD did. Got me losing again. I stayed pretty LC for awhile and still try to be pretty moderate in my carbs, but nowhere near Atkins levels anymore, and it still works! Good luck, and keep posting!

Thank you for your replies, I think I'm definitely going to try the eod method, as my loss seems to have slowed down a lot the past two weeks.
Since there seems to be no difference doing it low carb, I'll stay with the same carb intake, which is great for me because I love carbs lol. Thanks again, this has been extremely helpful. Have a great day all (: |
