I know we can get hung up on the number - waiting for that whoosh, despair with every bounce, and we all have different ways of dealing with it: weighing less, tracking the downward trend over 2 weeks, etc.
I have a dear friend who is a Herbalife wellness coach and, although I don't use her products, I love her approach to overall wellness and weight loss. She posted this on her website and I wanted to share.
All 6 of these ladies, including the one on the far right of the photo (not in white) weigh 150# - the far right is 150# I could be proud of! I'd call goal at that for sure!!

Love it! Thanks for posting it.

Thank you for bumping this post. Great information. I'll think of this when I grab my midsection and instead of feeling "firm" fat, feel "squishy" fat- which is what I'm beginning to feel. And I will think - just water replacing the solid stuff!! Will soon be gone. My inches lost are not much so far, but the feel of my fat is definitely different.

Squishy fat is the first sign, Goner! It's working for you, for sure!

Glad I finally decided to read this (been being stubborn because it didn't sound "interesting enough) That may explain why, even though I drink water like crazy, it seems like it never comes back out in the volume it went in as. And then, all of a sudden, I'll get hit (usually at work) with the "I have to pee NOW or I'm gonna need a rowboat!" feeling. And then I make several bathroom trips within a short period of time after that initial one. Plus, even though I don't drink a whole lot before bed, I wake up around the same time every morning feeling like a beached whale because my bladder is so full.

I had been feeling very discouraged lately because for about a week, I just went wild eating whatever I wanted, turning good DD's into out of control UD's and trying again the next day, thinking "I'm not losing anything anyway so screw it!" I finally got myself back on plan.
As of 5/19/2014, No longer "overweight"!
